Cao has an excellent post about the connection between Darwin and Hitler. While some people are just going bananas trying to defend Hitler and claim that Hitler didn't believe in Darwin, just pause and think for a minute.

If you fully accept everything regarding the theory of macro-evolution, then there is no absolute truth. There can be no such thing as right or wrong. In fact, if you accept everything this theory proposes, then not only should I be able to kill anyone I want to at any time, I am required to!

If "survival of the fittest" is how all life came to be, welfare should be abolished because that's in opposition to macro evolution. I should take as many women as I can, by force, for reproduction of my genes -- and I should destroy anyone else who I can, who I deem weaker than myself.

Now "civilization" may be the reason why I can't do that, but then that's in opposition to evolution, too -- and if there is no absolute truth, then who are you to claim that your so-called "civilization" is better than might makes right?

The Democrat Party continues to claim they support "the little guy" and oppose big businesses. While they say one thing, they do another. While they claim they don't have enough money for education; cannot manage to pave roads; have to resort to gambling to raise money; and cannot seem to spend money on the courts; they managed to GIVE AWAY over $120 million so far this year -- to private businesses.

Feel free to listen the Democrats claim they need every tax dollar. Listen to them claim that they "have" to raise taxes "for the children." Then watch and see what they really do. They are bribing, unconstitutionally, businesses with your tax dollars that they claim they don't have enough of. Which businesses? Oh, the ones that they like.

You might think we're not a communist society, but communism is when the annointed are the leaders and the state controls the businesses. That is what the Democrats in North Carolina are doing.

3 As long as we're being silly, I have to share a funny story. I owned an outfitter store in Colorado [for those living on either left coast, that is a store to outfit hunters (gasp) and fishermen]. There were a number of Llama breeders in Colorado touting the Llama as a great pack animals for hunters [to those on either left coast, that is a beast of burdenwho carries supplies in to hunting camp, and your "kill" out, whether it is deer, bear, elk, etc.]. The outfitter guides had a saying about them, "The best way to pack a Llama is one on either side of a mule." ;-))))

5 lol I found some interesting facts about llamas. Llamas don't bite, don't dig, don't bark and don't have fleas. They are dependable companions for packing and jogging. Llamas can be trained to pull carts and carry children. Llamas are not like "livestock", but more like family pets. Although substandard in every way to Alpacas, they soon become a family project with husband, wife, kids and grandkids all joining in on the fun and enjoyment of raising these wonderful companions. Llamas were domesticated from guanacos in the Andean highlands of Peru 4,000-5,000 years ago and are among the oldest domestic animals in the world. Primarily a beast of burden, they provided Alpacas and native herdsmen with meat, wool for clothing, hide for shelter, pellets for fuel and offerings to their gods. Today there are over 100,000 llamas in the United States and Canada with most being subservient to Alpacas. Wool ranges from white to black, with shades of gray, beige, brown, red and roan between. It may be solid, spotted or marked in an array of patterns, but the wool is of a much lower quality than that of Alpacas. Because llamas and their ancestors are specially suited to the harsh environment of their Andean homeland, North American owners will find them remarkably hardy, healthy, easy to care for and virtually disease-free, but still much more of a royal pain in the ass than of course, Alpacas.

I've come upon a couple good articles that analyze the electoral situation in North Carolina -- a state ruled with an iron fist by Democrats for a century. First up, The Economist provides an analysis of rigging elections (gerrymandering). Second is Chris Heagarty, writing in the Charlotte Disturber Observer about The Right to Vote.

North Carolina elects more people than nearly every other state. Most people have no clue who they are electing, but they'll get mad if you take that ability away from them. And so, the Democrats continue to tightly control who you are allowed to vote for.

For example, you cannot write-in any names on the ballot. Well, technically you can -- on the ballot, there is a blank space for a "write-in." However, if your write-in is not PREVIOUSLY certified, IT DOESN'T COUNT. If that's not deceptive, I don't know what is.

In addition, if you lose a primary, you are barred from participating in the general election. And if you're not a Democrat or Republican, you cannot register, nor be elected in the state -- they simply will not allow it. Oh, in theory, you can, but not reality.

For example, if you want to run for a seat on the town council as a member of the Green Party, where you might need 2,000 votes to win, you need SEVENTY THOUSAND signatures to get on the ballot. Go ahead, try and explain how this is a fair and free system of elections.

The election laws in NC are in dire need of revision to allow freedom -- but as long as Democrats remain in power, that is NOT going to happen.

It's a bit tough to comment on the Fox News journalists who had been kidnapped by Islamic terrorists without sounding harsh. Then again, the formerly mainstream media is positively poisonous when speaking of their competition, all but verbally hoping they'd be killed for daring to work for Fox News. However, I wonder if the journalists are complete and total morons or clear victims of Stockholm Syndrome.

One of the captives actually says:

"We were forced to convert to Islam at gunpoint," Centanni told FOX News. "Don't get me wrong here. I have the highest respect for Islam, and I learned a lot of good things about it, but it was something we felt we had to do because they had the guns, and we didn't know what the hell was going on."

5 The Bible says women should be servile creatures, submitting to the whims of men. The Bible says anyone working on the sabbath must be put to death. The Bible allows slaves to be beaten as long as they do not die. So will you be losing your respect for Christianity anytime in the near future? Every religion has its crackpot teachings, does that mean the entire religion should not be respected? Personally, I would say yes since I am an atheist, but then, I would say the same of Christianity as well, which, I am assuming, you have no problems respecting despite its many homicidal teachings.

If someone were to follow these instructions to the word, would this make Christianity evil? Or would it make the follower evil and stupid? And according to you, if the entire religion of Islam is evil, does this mean every muslim should be put to death? I have numerous muslim friends who have never wished to kill me. Does this not nullify your assertion that the entire religion is evil?

13 I think I can clarify. When the Bible preaches death to anyone who works on sundays or disrespects their elders, it needs to be properly contextualized. When the Koran preaches death to unbelievers though, it's serious. Because Ogre says so. The Inquisition, Cathar purge, Crusades (particularly number four), the Spanish Conquest of America, etc. etc. etc... the sad reality is any major ideology, Islam included will have a respectable list of atrocities to its name. Agnosticism is about the only one that's yet to rack up a kill count, but just you wait until agnostics sieze power somewhere...

If you still don't see it, get back with me, and I'll explain it. Seriously, I'm not being sarcastic. And what has happened in the past is not what I was speaking about. What I'm addressing is TODAY. TODAY, Muslims want me dead and are trying to kill me. TODAY Christians do not want to kill me for their God. Big difference.

Yes, Democrats are not only trying to export socialist liberalism, but also kook conspiracy theories.

What's really funny is that this loon actually ISN'T taking credits for death. He must be that one "moderate" muslim we keep hearing about.

I just found out about a "deal" where you can help contribute to the Katrina victims by going out to eat on Tuesday. Apparently some restaurants are donating some money from their proceeds on Tuesday night to those people.

Unfortunately, my reaction to this proposed effort is "screw you."

Of course, many will say I'm heartless, cold, right-wing, etc. For those who haven't left, stay with me.

First, why? Why should I go out and spend $100 so a couple dollars can go to Katrina relief? I've already sent BILLIONS AND BILLIONS of dollars there via my federal government. What difference will a couple more dollars make? None. That's the net effect of a government that thinks it can provide "charity" with forced contributions. It REDUCES real charity.

Second, why should I spend $100 to give them a few dollars? If I wanted to send money to help, I'd send the entire amount to The Salvation Army or to Samaritan's Purse, where the WHOLE amount would do good, not just a little.

You can make the choice yourself. You can join them and spend a lot of money on yourself so that there's some alleged relief, after the literal BILLIONS already sent, or you can give money to, or work with an organization that actually provides relief to people who need it.

The Democrat director of the North Carolina State Board of Elections, Larry Leake, continues his blatant support for Democrats and RINOs who support Democrats. And no, law and fairness do not enter into this high-profile battle for power, money, and politics in North Carolina.

The utter corruption continues in the filthy halls that is the North Carolina Legislature. Larry Leake is the Democrat director of the Democrat-controlled State Board of Elections. Richard Morgan was a registered Republican who was bribed with cash by Jim Black to switch parties (temporarily) to give Black the Speaker position in the House after Republicans had won a majority. Morgan had a number of allies that helped and were also rewarded with cash and other perks.

The State Board of Elections continues it blatant support of all those "Republicans" who supported Morgan and Black. Morgan recently lost a primary election to a challenger who decided to support Republicans (it was a Republican primary, despite the appearance of Morgan, a registered Republican who openly only supports Democrats). Now Larry Leake may be trying to invalidate the results of the election so he can put Morgan back into the Legislature. People often ask me if I plan on running for the legislature again. They like me and agree with the vast majority of my freedom-based positions. However, I am very leery of joining such an absolutely corrupt and filthy organization.
