Military Rules for the Non-Military Personnel
Subject: Military Rules for the Non-Military Personnel
Dear Civilians,
We know that the current state of affairs in our great nation have many civilians up in arms and excited to join the military. For those of you who can't join, you can still lend a hand. Here are a few of the areas we would like your buttistance with:
1. The next time you see an adult talking (or wearing a hat) during the playing of the National Anthem ... kick their butt.
2. When you witness firsthand someone burning the American Flag in protest... kick their butt.
3. Regardless of the rank they held while they served, pay the highest amount of respect to all veterans. If you see anyone doing otherwise, quietly pull them aside and explain how these Veterans fought for the very freedom they bask in every second. Enlighten them on the many sacrifices these Veterans made to make this Nation great. Then hold them down while a Disabled Veteran kicks their butt.
4. (GUYS) If you were never in the military, DO NOT pretend that you were. Wearing battle dress uniforms (BDU's), telling others that you used to be "Special Forces," and collecting GI Joe memorabilia, might have been okay if you were still seven. Now, it will only make you look stupid and get your butt kicked.
5. Next time you come across an Air Force member, do not ask them, "Do you fly a jet?" Not everyone in the Air Force is a pilot. Such ignorance deserves a butt kicking (children are exempt).
6. If you witness someone calling the U.S. Coast Guard non military, inform them of their mistake...and kick their butt.
7. Roseanne Barr's singing of the National Anthem is not a blooper...it was a disgrace and disrespectful. Laugh, and sooner or later your butt will be kicked.
8. Next time Old Glory (U.S. flag) prances by during a parade, get on your damn feet and pay homage to her by placing your hand over your heart. Quietly thank the military member or veteran lucky enough to be carrying her...of course, failure to do either of those could earn you a severe butt kicking.
9. What Jane Fonda did during the Vietnam War makes her the enemy. The proper word to describe her is "traitor." Just mention her nomination for "Woman of the Year" and get your butt kicked.
10. Don't try to discuss politics with a military member or a veteran. We are Americans and we all bleed the same regardless of our party affiliation. Our Chain of Command, is to include our commander in Chief. The President (for those who didn't know) is our CIC regardless of political party. We have no inside track on what happens inside those big important buildings where all those representatives" meet. All we know is that when those civilian representatives screw up the situation, they call upon the military to go straighten it out. The military member might direct you to Oliver North. (I can see him kicking your butt already.)
11. "Your mama wears combat boots" never made sense to me ... stop saying it! If she did, she would most likely be a vet and probably kick your butt!
12. Bin Laden and the Taliban are not communists, so stop saying "Let's go kill those Commie's!!!" And stop asking us where he is!!!! Crystal balls are not standard issue in the military. That reminds me ... if you see anyone calling those damn psychic phone numbers; let me know, so I can go kick their butt.
13. Flyboy (Air Force), Jar Head (Marines), Grunt (Army), Squid (Navy) etc, are terms of endearment we use describing each other. Unless you are a service member or vet, you have not earned the right to use them. Could get your butt kicked.
14. Last but not least, whether or not you become a member of the military, support our troops and their families. Every Thanksgiving and religious holiday that you enjoy with family and friends please remember that there are, literally, thousands of sailors and troops far from home wishing they could be with their families. Thank God for our military and the sacrifices they make every day. Without them, our country would get its butt kicked.

I can especially agree with the coastguard one. I do pro bono web work on a site for vets. Do you have any idea how hard it was to find the coast emblem. They are really underappreciated and little understood.

I love this. My dad was a navigator on B52s while in the "Air Force"... yaaa he joined it when it was still associated with the Army and ended up in the Air Force. My dad never was a pilot on a jet. Yet he did just as much as others. I will have to pass these rules on down the line... and watch out... I can kick butt just as well as someone that was actually in the military.

Ogre - I have one rule I would offer a caveat to:
I only wear BDU's on very few occasions: when working on the car or in the yard, as they are the most comfortable and durable clothing I own (and the boots are common for me for ankle support, but I don't blouse the cuffs on my jeans like others do), and I still have my G.I. Joe collection, but only for two reasons. Those that are un-opened, will be passed as keepsakes to my children to remind them of REAL toys, and those that are opened, well, I'll show them how to play with REAL TOYS!
Other than that, amen!

First, they aren't dolls, they are ACTION FIGURES, and by playing, I mean strapping bottle rockets and M80's to them, thus the drop in value for those that are opened.
BTW - I did leave one out, I do wear BDU's when I compete with the paintball team, but that is to be expected.

How Much is the "N-Word" Worth?
According to attorney John Ray, the value of the "n-word" is exactly $5 million. Oh, and if you are reading this, YOU should pay that amount to him and his client. No, not because YOU said the word, but because someone else, with zero association to you or government, said the word to his client. How's that for today's legal system? Can you believe that lawyers can actually make these claims with a straight face?
Well, to be technically correct, no one actually SAID the evil word -- instead it was text-messaged to Brian Orr (slimeball John Ray's client). By whom? Well, that doesn't matter, you see. Because Brian was at a government school when he received the message, YOU, the taxpayer, should give him 5 million dollars. Yes, that's correct. Brian is hurt, insulted, and repressed, but if you put a couple million in his pocket (the rest goes to the lawyer), then he won't feel that way any more.
There's a few more details, including that Brian's locker was spat at. I think the text message might be worth $2 million, while spitting on a locker will cost YOU the taxpayer $3 million. Isn't it wonderful how huge piles of cash can make all the problems of the world go away?
If there were a judge worth his salt, he'd not only throw this court out of case so fast that you'd feel the breeze in Sarasota, FL, but he'd fine the lawyer $10,000 for wasting the court's time and filing baseless lawsuits. I'm not holding my breath for justice on this one either.

In their minds they win because they have large piles of cash.
Oh, and the lawyers win, of course, because they get a share of the taxpayer money.

Global Warming: Solved
A panel of lawmakers is working and has come up
with a solution to global warming. No more will anyone have to worry about melting ice caps. Algore can use all the energy he wants, because the problem will be no more because government can do anything!
You might be wondering how it's possible that one little state can solve the world's problems. You might not think government really is all that powerful. But these are Democrats (who run the NC state government and have for over 100 years) -- and there's no problem that cannot be solved by The Highest Power in the universe: government.
It's simple, really. It's just going to cost you.
That's all. They propose charging taxpayers more money for utilities. Oh, and they're going to "educate" children about global warming. There. Problem solved. At least according to the Democrats and what they mean by "solved:"
The most important thing is that we're here doing this in the first place, and that we're talking about it and thinking about it
That's Joe Hackney (D), the SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE. Literally, because they are "talking about it," the problem is solved. That's what Democrats honestly believe. No results are needed, just caring.
Once again, in case you missed it, that's the #3 Democrat Leader in the state (who just replaced the last #3 Democrat who has been convicted of various felonies) -- who believes that Global Warming can be solved by the North Carolina government because they're thinking about it.
Is there anything Democrats don't believe government can do?

What Did They Do Wrong?
Always on Watch has
been asking this week about lying. At the same time,
Kat has been speaking with people about "absolute truth." And today
has news that some people are accused of fraud. But did they do anything wrong?
A Vancouver woman admitted Monday that she coached her two children — beginning when they were 4 and 8 years old — to fake retardation so she could collect Social Security benefits on their behalf.
So how is that wrong?
Isn't this country based upon the government helping those who need help? Isn't government designed, today, to take care of people? Doesn't government measure it's own success by how many people it manages to help? So why is what this woman did wrong? She needed help and she got it from government.
Perhaps it's wrong because government says it's wrong. According to the all-powerful law, she is guilty of "conspiracy to defraud the government." So apparently, the only reason what she did was wrong is because the government says that you're not allowed to fake being disabled.
Wonderful society we've built here, isn't it? And I wonder why so many people looked at me like I was crazy when a few weeks ago I asked the waitress if she mis-charged me because my drinks weren't on the check she gave me.
Whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.
When you act dishonestly, you ARE stealing from another person. You might deceive yourself into thinking it is a business, the government, or an insurance company that is suffering the loss, but really it is the business owners, fellow taxpayers, or policy holders from whom you are stealing. It is just as if you had taken the money from their wallets. Dishonestly always injures people. The victim is always a person.
You shall not steal. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
Then again, if there is no absolute truth, if there is no higher power than ones' self, then anything is not only permissible, but actually right.

They did what they were taught to do. The only problem is they got caught so the government has to make an example of them. You know how that goes: "Do what we say and this is what you get but if you get caught we'll deny all complicity."

I am, unfortunately, in possession of relatives who have gotten disability. One sister got it for a bad back, so coached her sister on what to complain about and what to say to the docs and etc so that she, too, could get on the gravy train.
If they get to the point where they brag to me, as they have done to others, I'll ask them if they're going to say thank you, since I'm paying their benefits. Somehow, I don't think even that will shame them.

Being told you're unhinged by the left is a sign that you're on the right path.
Posted by: Ogre at February 27, 2007 09:44 PM (kft0e)
6
Well... in his defense I did get a little radical with my "secession/revolution" talk but that's not the real reason he called me unhinged... he did that to avoid answering what his beef with me is.
I don't know that the current politics are going to lead to such a radical movement but it's sure looking like it... hate the thought... but I would rather die than live in the socialized world the politicians are trying to achieve.

ok, it has been a long time since Western Civ, so forgive me if this is a bit muddled, but if I remember correctly, this is what my state-funded university taught me...
Right and wrong is a social construct.
It is based a cost-benefit analysis. Or maybe a social contract, but I'm still looking for the contract I signed, so that could be wrong, too.
From the woman's perspective, this was the right thing to do. There were all kinds of benefits to her actions which outweighed the distant costs. Whether her reckoning is correct is yet to be determined, I think. It kinda depends on the sentence.
From the government's perspective, well, it really depends on how you look at it. Pursuing her would perhaps be the wrong approach, because how much will it cost the state in legal fees and housing her in prison and supporting her children in the foster care system if that is where they end up?
Or maybe Kohlberg is more relevant. The woman's moral development clearly stopped at that stage where something is believed to be wrong only if caught. But that is where most of society is, so since she is normal, can we really pursue her?
"Thou shalt not steal" is a bit simpler, isn't it?
Posted by: Dana at February 28, 2007 07:37 AM (8bYMT)
9
If right and wrong are a social construct, then she absolutely did nothing wrong. If you accept that there is no absolute truth or right or wrong, then there's no way to claim that she did anything wrong. If that's the case, you can claim you didn't like what she did, but that doesn't make it wrong.
As you mention -- that's where society is today. There is no absolute right or wrong, according to the all-powerful government -- only what they say.

Jim Black: Felon -- Pension?
So what do you think? Do you think that Democrat Jim Black, who has openly and freely admitted to committing felonies while in office, should receive a pension for his crimes? Currently, under NC law, he will receive a pension for the rest of his life, care of the NC taxpayers. Yes, for doing nothing the rest of his life, he will receive tax money from people who actually work.
Now Phil Berger has filed a bill that says that convicted felons shouldn't receive taxpayer pensions. Isn't is really sick and disgusting that we even need to CONSIDER such a bill? Well, Mr. Berger is a Republican, so it's unlikely that this bill will see the light of day. As it stands, convicted felon Jim Black might get piles of taxpayer money in the form of a pension WHILE serving time in a federal prison.
Go ahead, try and convince me that the current system of government works.

Chanowki walks up to the two guys sitting at the other end of the bar and asks them what they think of Polaks. One of the men gives Chanowski the finger. The middle finger. Chanowski then walks back to his drinking buddy. " Well , what do they think of Polaks?" he asks. "We're still number one , " replies Chanowski.

ACLU Demands Diplomas
The ACLU in Palm Beach County, FL, are
planning a lawsuit to "demand" that the county start printing diplomas for all students. No, this has absolutely nothing to with education or learning -- just like any other government-run "school" district.
At issue is the graduation rate of high school students in Palm Beach County. The ACLU says that the number is too low, and they are shopping for plantiffs and a judge who will "order the school board to improve those rates." No, the ACLU has no comment regarding the educational abilities of the students, they just want more to have diplomas. It is not known if the district plans to give out diplomas to all residents of the county as the ACLU prefers, in accordance with "their constitutional responsibility."
This is today's ACLU, whether you want to admit it or not. They want, support, approve of, and actively work for, total socialism. In the minds of the ACLU, everyone must be perfectly equal, no matter what. According to the ACLU, some people should not be smarter than others. And if some people are smarter than others, those smart people need to be punished and brought down to the level of dumb people. That's the only way socialism works: everyone must be completely equal -- well, except for the "enlightened" leaders of the ACLU, of course.
If you're donating to the ACLU, they are using your money on this crap. Don't donate to the ACLU, they're opposed to capitalism and freedom everywhere.

Ogre - if anyone asks you for a worthy cause for the money they used to donate to the aclu(natics), send them to me. I guarantee I will use my legal skills (after law school) to sue the aclu (and of course counter sue when they sue) AT EVERY SINGLE OPPORTUNITY. But, as you know, law school isn't cheap, so I figure a conservative going to law school is a better use of their money than the aclu(natics), right?

Holy Crap, only 46.6% of all high school students in Palm Beach county graduate?
The ACLU should be suing to get a better education for those students and find out why only 46% are graduating instead of trying to get the county to just graduate them.
I would be embarassed that only 46% of students are graduating. I think Detroit has better numbers then that, that is truely embarassing.
Posted by: Quality Weenie at February 27, 2007 02:15 PM (BksWB)

They would sue for a better education, but they honestly do not care. They honestly do not want a better education. They just want a better graduation rate, no matter how it's done.
Sure, they'll claim they want a better education rate (maybe), but they're liars. To be completely honest, the primary reason for the lawsuit is cash -- the ACLU relies on cash settlements (mostly from taxpayers) from lawsuits to fund themselves.
Posted by: Ogre at February 27, 2007 02:23 PM (oifEm)
7
It's all about the numbers, really, not the quality. They really don't want educated people around, if you think about it, but the numbers count because the better the numbers the more tax dollars they get to control.

Because the paper is so much more important than the knowledge it represents,eh?
jeez you've made me mad with this story
I'm going into teaching within the next year. I'm currently taking the indoctrination courses, and it's really amazing how much thought is put into trying to figure out how to get people to learn. And yet, we still fail on so many levels.
and just handing out the papers is supposed to make that go away.
sheesh

The background check was so one government agency could ask another government agency about your criminal background. And yes, both agencies and every single employee in them is already paid 100% with your tax money, but apparently they still need MORE of your tax money for them to do their job.

It's unfortunate, but this is what the ACLU DOES. Their primary concern is gaining money for themselves and nothing more. Destroying freedom and democracy are a close second, but they'll only continue doing that as long as it's profitable for them.
I wish a government would counter sue them for billions.

So let's say for a minute that the ACLU is successful with this inanity. That would mean that those who have really earned their diplomas would be consigned to meaninglessness (Is that a word?).

That's exactly how socialism works: since everyone must be equal and some are more talented than others, those who are more talented must be brought down to the lowest level.

"The background check was so one government agency could ask another government agency about your criminal background. And yes, both agencies and every single employee in them is already paid 100% with your tax money, but apparently they still need MORE of your tax money for them to do their job."
Knew what the background check was for. I did the same work for the DOD schools overseas and let me tell you about background checks... LOL...I think it took me the entire day to fill out the paperwork, plus being fingerprinted, among other things. What I objected to was the fact that I was being required to buy a job by paying for the background check.

"That's exactly how socialism works: since everyone must be equal and some are more talented than others, those who are more talented must be brought down to the lowest level."
Under socialism, talent wouldn't matter anymore and people would be equal. Talent does not thrive under oppression. Instead, it dies.
Posted by: Steph at February 28, 2007 01:56 AM (AC9Dc)

Talent does not just die, it is violently crushed by the oppressive government! Socialism cannot survive with creativity, progress, and rugged individualism. That's the main reason socialism hasn't got a total grip on America yet -- there's still a lot of people who simply refuse to give in, no matter how attractive government makes laziness and dependency appear.

What IS Jihad?
Is Islamic jihad just a harmless form of spiritual struggle -- as is often argued by Western apologists for radical Islam? Is Jihadi violence simply a twisted, hijacked version of Islam, rejected by traditional Muslims? The David Horowitz Freedom Center's new Terrorism Awareness Project, which seeks to educate Americans, and especially college students about jihad, confronts questions such as these. It has produced a powerful new flash video, What Every American Needs to Know About Jihad. This video is adapted from a new pamphlet by Robert Spencer, which puts the threat of jihadist ideology into historical perspective. As Spencer makes clear, the religious imperatives of jihad demand the subjugation or killing of infidels and form the poisoned logic of Islamists' expansionist war against America and the West.
See what Front Page Magazine has to tell you about the real meaning of "jihad."

NC Chiropractic Costs?
I don't think you can answer the question if a cost increase is good or bad without determining WHY the costs might go up. At consideration right now is a move by the NC Legislature -- they may
repeal a law that forces insurance companies to not allow a free market. ANY time the free market is increased, I'm for it, no matter the consequences.
The law right now in North Carolina says that insurance companies must charge the exact same co-pay for medical doctors and chiropractors -- no matter what the market will bear. That's a bad law. That law is anti-capitalist and anti-freedom. Therefore, it's highly unlikely that the Democrat-controlled General Assembly will actually pass the law.
However, if they do, I'm all for it. I'm sorry to the chiropractors that might lose business because of the action -- but the free market WILL dictate what services and medical procedures will cost, if it's allowed to -- and I think it should be allowed to.
Sure, the chiropractors don't like this potential action -- but if you support NOT repealing this bill, you're supporting using the government as a bully to FORCE people to pay more for your services. That's wrong, no matter who does it, or why. For that very reason, I will be surprised if the Democrats in the General Assembly actually pass this bill -- but I will be glad if they do. Freedom is always better.

No Freedom of Religion in MA
Well, it's official now. U.S. District Judge Mark L. Wolf
has ordered that there is no freedom of religion in Massachusetts. And I always thought the death-knell for freedom of religion would come from CA or NY.
The judge has ORDERED that all people in the state absolutely and unconditionally accept and approve of homosexuals. You are simply not permitted to have any religion or hold any opinion in opposition to gay. In his decision, he actually agreed that the right to religion is not as important as accepting gays. Oh, and if you don't like it, you aren't even permitted to remove your own children from an environment that forces you to accept gays. You're simply not permitted to disagree with them at all.
And yes, you WILL go to jail if you dare to disagree. Don't think so? Ask David Parker.
There simply is no freedom left in America today.

"There simply is no freedom left in America today."
You got that right and the unaware who have steadfastly conferred their personal responsibilities onto an uncaring government also consistently keep voting in the same perpetrators. I suppose they FEEL better to be a drone with no thoughts other than what they are told to think. No wonder so many are so against wars against despots... How are we as a nation any different?
You know, I could care less what gays do in their PRIVATE LIVES. There have been and always will be gays in the world. What bothers me is the fact that they FEEL they must FORCE their lifestyles on me and FORCE me to accept something that goes against MY OWN NATURE... in short they FORCE me to acknowledge their PRIVATE LIVES, while telling me I have no right to mine? I also wonder how they will reconcile this with the religion of Islam which is also being pushed. You know homosexuality is punishable by death under the Muslim religion, right?
Doing the right thing is the hardest thing in the world to do when there is such pressure to "go with the flow." I've had to do it in my personal life more times than I can count, usually to my detriment. I can only hope that in the next life the fact that I've tried to do what's right, no matter what, will be in my favor as nothing in this life has.

You're so right in so many ways. Yes, government has become utopia for many -- you don't have to take responsibility for ANYTHING, because the government will take responsibility for everything for you -- whether you want them to or not. That's tyranny, even if it's voted in by the majority.

You know, I wouldn't be so sure in this case it is the gay people 'forcing' their lifestyle on you as it is the 'straight-guilt' crowd. These people are the same people that are members of the white-guilt, American-guilt, Christian-guilt, and human being-guilt crowd.
My 6 and 7 year olds are aware of homosexuality because of family members and friends that are gay. It is not thrown in their face or discussed at length, they just understand that it exists. When they started asking questions, I told them the very, very basics. With that said, it was a personal decision on my part, not the school's or governments. Denial doesn't make it disappear.
In all reality, this is something parents should teach their children, but 98% wouldn't.... I don't think ANY sex ed should be taught in schools without the parents written consent after seeing an outline of the classes content.

Let me explain the first sentence in the last paragraph....
'this' = sex-ed, not necessarily homosexuality.
Posted by: Eric B at February 25, 2007 10:24 PM (NxuwB)
5
In this case, it is the gays who want to force everyone to accept them. These gays don't want to permit anyone to even disapprove of them at all! And it absolutely should be the choice of the parent as to when, how, and if their children will find out about such things. For a judge to say that mandated gay acceptance is more important than freedom of speech or religion is just horrible.

I'll find others as well. What I've found so far only talk about the actions of those unions in nature, nothing of the consequences of it. I've seen a few instances of it myself in nature but the consequences were those animals so engaged were shunned by others of the same species.
Yeah, yeah, I know proponents of such rights will say as higher animals we should do better by acknowledging their nature while, of course, denying us of our nature to repudiate it and so on and so on and...

I'm not even arguing about homosexuality in this post -- I'm simply pointing out that the homosexual activists DESPISE freedom. They do not want to allow me freedom of thought. They do not want to allow things like your link points to -- those thoughts should be illegal, according to them. And that's just plain wrong.

Friday Feast
Once again it's time for the Friday Feast. Here's how it works:
Each Friday when you visit this meme, you will find 5 enticing courses for your mind to gobble up:
Appetizer
- a quick, tasty morsel to get you started
Soup
- smooth and warm to soothe your mind
Salad
- a nutritious blend of "veggies"
Main Course
- a hearty portion that is sure to satisfy
Dessert
- light concoction for your sweet tooth
And now for this week's fare:
Appetizer: Where on your body do you have a scar, and what caused it?
There's so many ways I could go with this question. I guess I'll go with coolness: Above my eye from where I was hit with a baseball bat. Fun times.
Soup
What is something that has happened to you that you would consider a miracle?
I guess just the miracle of birth is too much to ask?
Salad
Name a television personality who really gets on your nerves.
This one is just the salad? Geez. I can't get past the first 4 words. Can you name a person who appears on television who HAS a personality? And if you think one does, how do you know it's not fake? How about naming one famous one that hasn't been in rehab? Sorry, I have a very, very low opinion of television. It really doesn't add anything to life at all. It's just a poor waste of time. There's a reason it gets names like "The Boob Tube" and "The Idiot Box." So I guess the best answer to the question would be all of them.
Main Course
What was a funny word you said as a child (such as "pasketti" for "spaghetti")?
What makes you think I would remember? And even if I did, how would I know that it was wrong? Do you think that children actually intentionally say things wrong? Do you picture the 4-year old looking for laughs, checking out the audience, saying to themselves, "Okay, if I can just swap this c for a p, they might think it's funny..."
Dessert
Fill in the blank: I have always thought ______ was ______.
Which blank?

Good Muslims
While the majority of Muslims, especially those in leadership, either openly support terrorism, or support it through lack of action, a few dare to stand up and denounce terrorism. Most of them are likely to be killed by other Muslims for speaking out and speaking the truth. Ibrahim Abdul MuÂ’min is one of the few:
A much more vile thing than to murder a man is to sell him suicide as a virtue.
I renounce them! I denounce them! I refuse to side with the weak, scared Muslims of this country and the phony Wahabi Saudi-funded Imams who tell me that these murderers are my Muslim brothers in need of understanding. No! I denounce them! They are not my Muslim brothers.
...
I denounce the so-called Islamic organizations such as C.A.I.R.
...
I denounce youÂ… you madmen who hide behind my Islam. I reject youÂ… you cowardly thugs who subvert the word of Allah to foster your gangster regimes while holding in ignorance and oppression millions of Muslims in your own countries.
I don't think he's going to be asked to the CAIR Ramadan party in Iran this year. Go read the whole article, "
I Am a Muslim."

His position is admirable, but I'm in accord with Always on Watch: jihadism is integral to Islam. Therefore, he's a heretical Muslim -- and may God protect him from his more orthodox brethren.

If enough Muslims stand up with this man, they can actually change the religion. They can remove jihad from the religion. No, it won't happen overnight, probably not in decades -- but it can happen if more will join this man.

Truth Bothers Muslims
Once again, a person has attempted to expose the truth about the religion of Islam today. And as usual, CAIR (who represents VERY FEW Muslims)
is whining. They're going so far this time to claim that the truth is actually slander!
Strangely enough, the main person complaining in the news (besides CAIR) is called a "non-practicing Muslim" whose family is Christian and "taught to accept all religions." That's a stupid position to take. It is quite literally impossible to accept ALL religions -- THEY CONFLICT WITH ONE ANOTHER! Most religions say you must belong to that religion or you will die (or go to hell). So it is quite literally impossible to accept every religion! Some religions tell you to kill anyone who does not convert to that religion. How does that accept or respect ANY other religion? It is absolutely assanine to even attempt to accept all religions. It's just completely impossible.
One part of the claimed "slander" is ACTUAL QUOTES comparing Mohammed and Jesus:
—Husband, beat your wives and deny them sex." (The book of Islam, Koran 4:34)
—"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the Church and gave Himself for her." (The Holy Bible, Ephesians 5:25)
Nice comparison, isn't it? It's completely FACTUAL. There's not even any opinion there -- it's a clear outline of the facts showing the difference between two religions. But Triaq Butte (a "non practicing Muslim") says that's slander and defamation. Perhaps Mr. Butte needs to go back to school and learn what "slander" means.
But wait, there's more!
Mr. Butte completely opposes ANY freedom of speech, even that which has nothing to do with Muslim. He opposes the KKK having freedom of speech, too. Apparently Mr. Butte does not want anyone to be allowed to say anything that he, personally, disagress with. He claims he's for "freedom of speech," and even claims that he doesn't like some aspects of Islam -- but he's not for anyone else, apparently, disagreeing with him.
The CAIR whiners (representing less than 0.0595% of American Muslims) complained that a Muslim was not invited, too. Of course, that's not even true, but when have the facts ever gotten in the way of a good CAIR complaint?
The truth hurts. Sorry that Muslims don't like that.

Robert Escamilla, that teacher in Raleigh, did a very brave thing.
I don't doubt that CAIR is fuming over this one. But can CAIR offer a reasoned discussion on this? No.

I like how the "non practicing" muslim guy said:
"I pointed out to [the teacher] there's a limitation Â… to free speech," Butte said. "For example, you can't have the KKK come to the school distributing their literature."
ROTFLMAO... obviously this guy wasn't raised in the USA, or has some libbed out distorted view of what kind of speech is "allowed" in our country.
NEWS FLASH to libz and immigrants... There is no constitutional right to be "free from being offended"!
If a public school teacher is bass-ackward enough to bring in the KKK to a classroom, they have that right. If you're offended by something like this, too bad. As Ward Churchill (*idiot) has proved, as well as the landmark Supreme Court decision in Fallwell vs. Larry Flint / Hustler Magazine, its "ok" for free speech to be totally offensive.
This is the american way, say what you want, but after you say it, you have to own what you say.

But the definition of freedom of speech to Democrats, liberals, and Mr. Butte:
You may say anything you like, as long as I agree with it and it doesn't offend me.

Governor Easley: "Let Them Eat Cake!"
NC Democrat Governor Mike Easley
says: INCREASE TAXES! INCREASE SPENDING! And you poor saps who are working for a living? Tough. Work harder so he can spend his money.
He wants to raise taxes on income. He wants to increase the state sales tax.
His personal favorite sham, the lottery, needs to REDUCE money to education so he can spend more tax money for education. You see, the "education" lottery isn't delivering all the money he personally promised, so he wants it to pay out LESS to education. Only a true liberal Democrat can really say that and think it makes any sense.
And following the Democrat platform, he wants to reward loyal voters with taxpayer cash. He wants to give government employees more money for doing less (as opposed to the real-world basis of trying to get more work for less money). He has proposed a $20 BILLION dollar budget for the state. And he wants to take more of the money you work for to give to others who don't work so they can have insurance. No, he doesn't care if you can't afford it because government subsidies ALWAYS raise costs.
In addition, he wants to raise ANOTHER billion in "bond money" (that's MORE taxpayer cash from the future) for "schools."
This is the standard Democrat line in North Carolina -- punish those who work and reward those who don't. Keep supporting those Democrats if you're lazy -- they'll reward you.

National Veterans Coalition
If you served in our country's Armed Forces, then you took an oath to defend "the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic". Oddly, that last part (" ... against all enemies, foreign and domestic") is not in the oath of office for the president of the United States, nor the vice-president. And, no one "took it out"; it was never in. The text of the oath comes directly from the Constitution (
Article II, Section 1, Paragraph 8). Also in the Constitution is a requirement that the United States shall protect the several States from invasion. (
Article IV, Section 4) In his position as Commander in Chief of our military, the president is required to protect our borders from invasion, instead of making our borders meaningless to hordes of illegal aliens. (And, certainly not to
prosecute those who secure our borders, nor to issue
standing orders to retreat from the invaders.)
There are many fine groups that American veterans can join. But, those groups are organized as veterans' service groups. They are prohibited by law from engaging in direct, partisan, political activities. There is one group, however, that is organized specifically for such political activity. That group is the National Veterans Coalition.

The only way they can prevent you from participating in the political arena as a group is if you accept tax exempt status under one of the 501 rules. Otherwise bring it on.

OUCH!
On the more practical day to day living of dealing with this invasion, I'm trying to figure out how to grow my own food on a small plot that slopes quite steeply. I'm a hillbilly, though, so I'll find a way... at least until they tell me I no longer own my land at all because I have to give it to someone else more needy! I fully expect that to happen sometime in the near future.

You don't own your land. You rent it from the government. Go ahead, don't pay your rent (property taxes) and see what happens. Try and build a building without asking permission from your landlord (the government) and watch what they do.

Oh, I know that but it's going to get worse... you know eminent domain means they can come and take it for any reason they deem "necessary." Considering the influx of "immigrants" into this area, I'm figuring they'll start moving us out to make room for them.
There's not much on the National Veterans Coalition site. Is it new?
Posted by: Steph at February 23, 2007 06:15 PM (AC9Dc)

Yes, it's new.
And don't forget, "any reason" includes, well, anything at all, including increases in government coffers.

NH Wants to Silence Citizens
While nearly a dozen states debate laws that would expand parents' rights, the New Hampshire legislature is working overtime to undermine them. Since 2003, the Granite State has had a parental notification law on the books, requiring at least one parent to be informed 48 hours before their minor daughter has an abortion. Planned Parenthood, concerned that the law would scare off business, challenged the measure in court on the grounds that it didn't include a health exemption for the mother. Ultimately, the suit landed in the U.S. Supreme Court, where, in January of last year, the justices reversed a ruling that had struck down the law. Now the state legislature is fighting to repeal the law, insisting that the government--not moms or dads--should be the ultimate authority on matters that affect children's health. Yesterday, the House Judiciary Committee voted 12-5 in favor of abolishing a parents' right to know. From there, the measure will go before the full state House for a vote and, if successful, could be signed into law by Gov. John Lynch (D) as early as March. If the appeal passes, the court case is moot. When FRC attempted to alert our supporters in New Hampshire to the urgency of this issue, we were informed that unless our organization had a lobbyist registered in the state, we were forbidden from e-mailing New Hampshire voters. Obviously, the government is intent on silencing those that would expose their strategy to suppress parents on an issue as vital as teen abortion. In fact, some leaders consider the whole matter of parental notification a distraction from state business. As Rep. Liz Hager (R) said, "Let's get this expensive, unconstitutional problem behind us." However, the true expense will be the toll on innocent, human lives should the state erase a law that serves to give young girls pause about killing their unborn babies. Our friend Karen Testerman, head of New Hampshire's Cornerstone Policy Research, is circulating a petition in hopes of persuading elected officials--not to change their position on abortion, but to uphold parents' rights. For more information on Cornerstone's efforts, log on to

Don't you just love the excuse:
Health exemption for the mother.
In most of these cases, that Mother is still a child under every other law on the books. Her parents are still required to pay for her upbringing, her insurances, her medical/dental care, her education, her food, clothing, housing.

"Health Exemption for the mother" is just another damn lie the liberals tell, plain and simple.

Blogs For Borders Video Blogburst
We take a look at the Bank of America/credit cards for illegals scandal.
We take a look at crimes committed by illegals who have committed multiple crimes and/or been deported yet are free to kill and maim in this country.
We also have the latest video from the "Free Ramos & Compean" rallies nationwide.
And we end with some 'cheesecake?'
You'll have to watch to solve this mystery!
You can watch the new episode here.
If you'd like to become involved we need two things.
First, we need people with blogs and websites to host and link the video so people are watching it and we can make this into the premier source for illegal immigration news.
Second, video, we need people to strap on their cameras and capture the bad behavior of our illegal aliens and the communists/socialists/anarchists who support them. Or as I like to call it "the news the news ignores."

Black Pleads Not Guilty but Guilty
In what is absolutely no surprise to this writer, leader of the North Carolina Democrats Jim Black,
made a deal in his criminal prosecution. He accepted an agreement in which he claims that he hasn't done anything wrong, but the evidence shows that he's guilty. Really, that's his plea. Even with his plea, he's claiming that he didn't do anything wrong, but instead what he did might be against the law.
And while he did, perhaps, accept and pay out bribes for his own personal gain; and use bribes to obtain power and large donations of campaign cash (to be used for his own personal purposes); and that while he did actually obstruct justice and lie over the last two years (at least) about all of the facts; he STILL claims that he didn't do anything wrong.
This is the Democrat Party in action. They will do and say anything to remain in power, and they honestly don't think that ANYTHING they do is actually wrong, even when they clearly know and admit it's illegal! That's just sick.
