But the whole article intentionally misleads regarding abortion. It's primary focus is that there will be "back alley abortions" if Roe v. Wade is overturned. This shows a complete and total (likely intentional) misunderstanding of laws and the Constitution. If Roe v. Wade is overturned, nothing happens -- literally.
Roe v. Wade was about the federal government vs. states rights. That decision said that states do not have permission to ban abortions. By removing permission for a ban, nothing happens. In other words, even if Roe v. Wade is overturned, there's about a 100% chance that abortions will still be legal in CA, NY, and MA. If the decision is overturned, all that will do is allow states to make their own laws.
Yes, some states will ban abortions -- but that's what a republic is supposed to be -- people in their own states making laws for themselves. However, those who support Roe v. Wade -- intentionally or unintentionally -- are opposing people having a right to choose -- their own laws.
