"[Anyone who prays] believe[s] that they answer to a higher power, in my opinion. Which is the kind of thinking that you had with the people who flew the airplanes into the buildings in this country, and the people who did the kind of things in London."
The first part of that quote is just stupid -- yes, of course someone who prays believes in a higher power. The second part is just outlandish -- if you believe in a higher power, you're a terrorist! How's that for logic? That would include Christians, Jews, Hindus, Wiccans, Earth-Firsters, any anyone who believes in a higher power. I bet you didn't know that everyone, including naturalists, were terrorists, did you?
Well, according to the spokesman for the ACLU in Louisiana, you are. This statement came about while the ACLU was suing a school board in Louisiana for daring to pray at their meetings. Notice, however, that this statement has absolutely NOTHING to do with government or government-sponsored prayer -- lunatic Joe Cook simply made the blanket statement, which supports the ACLU's position, that ANYONE who believes in a higher power is a terrorist.
This is the same ACLU that wants people thrown in jail for saying a prayer at a football game. This is the same group of communists that want people jailed for saying the Lord's Prayer.
The ACLU is NOT American. They do not stand for civil rights. They do NOT stand for liberty. They were started to throw out the representative republic in America and replace it with communism. They are actively hostile towards anything remotely associated with Christianity, because Christianity opposes communism. They support jailing people for saying the Lord's Prayer, but they want to force others to listen to "Wiccan blessings."
Do not support the ACLU, because they hate you, and they might be coming after you next. This was part of the Stop The ACLU Blogburst. If you would like to participate please Register At Our Portal. Pretty simple. We will add you to the blogroll, and send you the rest of the info you will need. Almost 100 sites already onboard!
