Illegal Immigrants Commit Crimes!
Breaking news! Criminal Aliens/Illegal Immigrants
commit crimes! What a shocker! Of course in this example, they're talking about very violent crimes that the media and the government don't want to admit.
Study after study shows that when someone gets away with one crime, they are much more likely to commit another crime. Since these people are not punished at all for breaking the law continuously, every day; and they are protected from being punished like citizens; why not gang rape? After all, if no one will arrest them for breaking immigration laws, breaking tax laws, breaking DMV laws, and breaking voter laws; why think they would be arrested for rape?
And worst of all, because of fear of "backlash" against CRIMINALS:
It appears as if there is a fear that if this is honestly discussed, people will hate all illegal immigrants. So there is silence. Â… But in being silent about the rapes and murders, it is as if the victims never even existed.
Bottom line, folks: Your government
ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT protect you -- not even from violent criminals. Arm yourself, it's your only hope.

You know you sound crazy, right?
A friend of mine told me a story the other day. She's a Caucasian American citizen working in a mexican restaurant, which is staffed almost entirely by illegals. They were gathered around a radio in the kitchen listening to a campaign ad from our Rep. Charles Taylor. The ad talks about toughening the border and how illegal immigrants are going to vote for Democrats.
My friend described the looks on the faces of the people listening. They looked slumped, thoughtful, and sad. They work 6 days a week, 12 hours a day. They share a home to cut down on expenses. They don't break the law, and they're very kind.
People like you are squandering what we could be capitalizing on - a group with an amazing work ethic and family ethic. People who are genuinely interested in improving their lot in life.
------------------
Also. Maybe you haven't noticed all the white Americans who break the law a lot. Or maybe you're just xenophobic or racist. I don't know.

How can you say in one sentence, "staffed almost entirely by illegals" and in the next paragraph say, "They don't break the law."
By definition, if they're illegals, THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW. That's the point of this post! THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW. IF THEY ARE ILLEGALS, THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW. I'm not sure what part of that you don't get.
Is it okay if I murder people if I donate blood and I'm a nice person? Can I rob banks if I do charity work? You clearly imply that it's okay to break the law as long as someone is "nice."
And just to make a point -- YOU, and ONLY YOU brought up anything to do with race, NOT ME. YOU are the one who brought up and judged people by skin color and national origin NOT ME. Very obviously, YOU are the racist.

"They work 6 days a week, 12 hours a day."
That wreaks of slave labor. Perhaps they make less than minimum wage as well which is why they all share a home. Hardly the American dream.
So you advocate slave conditions for these people while feigning the humanitarian?
Ogre mentioned the main point. What is it with the word illegal that you can't grasp?

Presidential Response to Saudi Arabia
Alerted by
Always on Watch, I see that the Saudis are demanding an
apology from President Bush. I would like to provide the appropriate response from the United States:
"Mr Bin-Hoomid, you're right, and I will apologize right now.
"I apologize to the people of America that we have allowed the religion of death, Islam, to invade our shores and fester inside our country. I apologize that I have not been more focused on stopping the growing sores of Islam from expanding and taking over in America. I apologize that we have let Islam have a monopoly on terrorism against Western Civilization for the past 40 years.
"You can take your Prophet Mohammed (may he rot in hell) and shove him up your ***. You claim it is a 'falsification' that Islam is related to terrorism. While it may be true that all members of the religion of Islam are not terrorists, of what good to me are those members? You can claim you are peaceful, but when your religion demands my death, I really don't give a damn. You want a peaceful religion, then YOU stop the terrorists in your midst. Since you won't, I will.
"You and your cabinet might claim that 'Fascism is a product of Western culture,' but who gives a damn? Should I only kill you with guns made in America, too, or is it okay if I use Chinese weapons? It doesn't matter to me one whit WHY you towel-heads want me dead, I'm still going to kill you until you stop trying to kill me.
"As for CAIR, we know that's a terrorist group. Anyone who claims otherwise is dishonest and likely in league with them. And Edina Lekovic, terrorist from LA, again, I don't care that it cast aspersion on 'all muslims.' Once again, if you won't stop the terrorists in your group, I WILL.
"Hey, Mohamed Elibiary, terrorist activist, you're offended? Kiss my rear. You have no right NOT to be offended. And you're offended by me using terms that are accurate, but somehow you're NOT offended by terrorists killing thousands IN YOUR NAME? How about being angry AT PEOPLE WHO ARE KILLING for once, you terrorist sympathizer?
"In conclusion, I address specifically Bin-Hoomid and his pals in Saudi Arabia. You are warning me of 'dangerous consequences.' Let me tell you something, buddy -- you're Saudi Arabia. I'm America. Shut the **** up. You just keep pumping the oil out of the ground or we'll just come take it from you. We've had 50 states for a long time, and if you keep being annoying, we might just have to add number 51."

"It is a certain fact that not all Muslims are terrorists," he writes, "but it is equally certain, and exceptionally painful, that almost all terrorists are Muslims. We cannot clear our names unless we own up to the shameful fact that terrorism has become an Islamic enterprise; an almost exclusive monopoly, implemented by Muslim men and women."

Quran mentions this incident (Q33.26,27). Sahih hadeeses and the first muslim historian Ibn Ishaq give all the details of it (for references see "faithfreedom.org") All muslim authorities accept the fact. Yes muslims are embarassed every time it is mentioned and give silly excuses like they had commited treason, and that they were judged by the jewish law for treason. If treason was the charge then why did not the good and kind prophet punish the leaders only? Was it necessary to behead all the adult males? Was it necessary to enslave all the women and children to be sold in slavery to buy arms? Was it necessary for the prophet to personally rape beautiful 17 year old Rehana? Perhaps the apologists are using the concept of "taqiuya" in islam in which you are allowed to lie for the good of islam and deny that the massacre ever happenened.

Here's something that I think will help everyone understand Islam better.
The following article applies to cults of all shapes and sizes, be it the fictional "opus dei" in the Da vinci Code, to Hara Khrisna to Martial arts organizations or even.... (let's be politcally correct here, in case someone demands an "apology" from me.

)
Authority
(claims to receive knowledge from a “Higher source” guro/sifu/icon/god)
Terminology
(When the “group” uses the same terms as the “Authority” they begin to see things colored by the same perceptions as the authority. They are all on the same page. The clever use of language helps control the groups perceptions, ideas, and thoughts.)
Ritual
(the authority uses ritual to control the groups “actions” in a physical sense. This is done by controlling associations, relationships, and the groups “time”)
This “authority” figure must claim to receive its information and “legitimacy” from a “higher source”. A sifu, guro, Icon, master, or even God himself. The source of the authorities legacy is to a certain degree perceived as infallible, and as such, becomes a sacred cow. In the Martial Arts world this is done by tracing “lineage” back to a mystical source. A keeper of the magic book. In the religious world this is done by tracing the source of information back to a prophet, or to God himself. The Authority must set themselves up as the mouthpiece of God on Earth. The keepers of truth.
The next essential element is terminology. Terminology allows the authority the ability to make the group perceive and express the same ideas as the authority. If you are performing a “foute”, “Jeet Tek”, or “teep” you are to a degree expressing a “style”. If you are simply “kicking” then you are expressing yourself. An Authority will always prefer you express “their style”, and not yourself. In religious cults the use of language serves to create a distinction not between “styles” as in Martial Arts, but between the authorities “truth”, and lies, or the “world”. If we say “we are in the truth” then others are by proxy must be “in a lie”. Although this may go unstated, the implication is absolute. It is necessary for all cult authorities to create an environment of “us vs them”. This is done through the clever use of language, “terminology”.
Us vs them
Insiders vs outsiders
The tribe vs the enemy
The sacred vs the profane
Governments will often use language for the same purpose. Repeated often enough “repetition for emphasis” (a form of brainwashing), the ideas the government wish to get across often become truths in the public mind. For example:
We give foreign aid - they export revolution
We inform - they use propaganda
We defend ourselves - they are aggressors
Our missiles are designed to deter - theirs designed to strike
We have “defensive” weapons - they have offensive weapons
We are freedom fighters - they are imperialists
The final ingredient to an unhealthy organization, and a successful cult is the use of ritual. Ritual is designed to control the time and relationships of the group. This in turn helps control the groupÂ’s actions.
What does that mean? Here is a simple example. In ancient Rome most legionnaires would never throw a spear in anger. Especially during the famous era of roman peace. As such the government constantly kept the legions working. Building walls, towns, and structures. Keeping the legions busy, and controlling the legions “time”, kept the legions from thinking long and hard about the Roman governments decisions, and possibly becoming a threat and considering an overthrow.
In Martial Arts ritual is used to control a students time and relationships. Higher ranking students often train separately from lower ranking students, and encouraged not to fraternize. Their training sessions are often secret. This prevents the beginning student from forming a clear picture of where this “art” eventually leads, and thus becoming disillusioned.
The elaborate use of ritual, and rigid class structure keeps the student occupied during class time. Without their own “time” to explore the information in class, and spar in an “alive” manner, they are never afforded the opportunity to discover that what they are learning will not actually work.
It also helps keep the student “in his place”. Which is to say that he is discouraged through the use of ritual from ever questioning the authority figure in any way.
Another way Martial Arts Guro’s exert control on their organizations is by discouraging the students from training at other schools or Gyms. Some extreme organizations even kick out students who attend other classes, as this is deemed “disloyal!" In religion ritual is use for the same purpose. Devotees are often discouraged from associating with outsiders. In extreme cults the Organization will often go so far as to “excommunicate” people for associating with certain individuals! This control of the group’s relationships helps keep the group in line with the authorities ideas. Just as with the military, religious cults must also find a way to occupy the groups time, thus cutting down on the time the group has to research and think about the authorities decisions. This is often done by demanding large amounts of time a week where the group meets together, and in some cults through proselytizing. Encouraging the group to spend its free time recruiting others. Religious Cults also exert control on their groups by discouraging, or in some extreme cases, out right banning members from reading publications or books that offer an alternative view, which is deemed destructive or malicious by the cult. Rest assured that any organization on earth that pursues such a policy must have much to hide. Just as any Martial Arts Instructor who pursues such a policy is demonstrating his own insecurity. Any group or individual that is offering only the truth will NEVER discourage adherents from reading critical literature. Truth will always shine out, and there is no need for book banning when you speak and preach only truth! The most effective ways to exert control over an individual life is through associations (whom the group is allowed form relationships with). Occupying the groups personal time, and sex. This is why you will find a heavy emphasis placed on the personal life of cult members. . who they are with, when they are with them, and who they sleep with. This is the sign of a clear cut religious cult. Why do people create/ need cults? That’s a good question. The only possible answer I can think of is that people find security in a cult environment. There is comfort in submitting to an authority that claims to receive its knowledge and legitimacy from a “higher source”. There is comfort in the group that uses an us vs them paradigm, and enforces its dogma with terminology. There is comfort in dogma itself, and there is great comfort in ritual. In things familiar.
“So we acquire a sense of self worth either by realizing our talents, or by keeping busy or by identifying ourselves with something apart from us  be it a cause, a leader, a group, possessions or whatnot. The path to self realization is the most difficult.” “Similarly, we have more faith in what we imitate than in what we originate. We cannot derive an absolute certitude from anything which has its roots in us. The most poignant sense of insecurity comes from standing alone and we are not alone when we imitate. It is thus with most of us; we are what other people say we are. We know ourselves chiefly by hearsay.”
- Bruce Lee
Truer words are seldom spoken. It is that path of self realization that Bruce spoke of that we need to encourage others and ourselves to pursue. We do not want to become one of the countless numbers of people who derive their sense of self worth from belonging, or following, a leader, cause, or cult.
How then do we create an organization without creating a cult? By following the fourth principle of the Gym. Not setting yourself up as an authority figure. Not encouraging others to use cult like language, titles, or and us vs them attitude. And finally, by not creating any ritual. People must be allowed to think for themselves. Indeed they should be encouraged to exercise and develop critical thinking. Questioning authority every single step of the way. And constantly demanding that anybody, or anything that sets itself up as an authority justify its own existence. One thing is absolutely certain; More harm, violence, death and destruction, has been done in the name of “Just obeying authority”, then has been, or ever will be done in the name of rebellion.
Krishnamurti: “Suppose, if there were no book, no guru, no teacher, what would you do? What would you do? No drugs, no tranquilizers, no organized religions, what would you do?
Questioner: “I can’t imagine what I would do.”. . . . . . . . . . . . . .Perhaps there would be a moment of urgency there.”
Krishnamurti: “That’s it. We haven’t the urgency because we say, “well somebody is going to help me.”
Questioner: “But most people would be driven insane by that situation.”
Krishnamurti: “I am not so sure sir.”
On August 3rd, 1929 Krishnamaurti spoke to a crowd of thousands at a camp in Ommen. The crowd had gathered to hear the man that had been proclaimed a “Messiah” as a child, a “Savior”. Needless to say they where shocked and surprised by the speech that Krishnamurti gave, and the truth that he revealed. Here is a transcript of that famous 1929 speech.
We are going to discuss this morning the dissolution of the Order of the Star. Many people will be delighted, and others will be rather sad. It is a question neither for rejoicing nor for sadness, because it is inevitable, as I am going to explain.
KrishnamurtiYou may remember the story of how the devil and a friend were walking down the street, when they saw ahead of them a man stoop down and pick up something from the ground, look at it, and put it away in his pocket. The friend asked the devil, “What did that man pick up?” “He picked up a piece of the truth,” said the devil. “That is very bad business for you, then” said his friend. “Oh, not at all,” the devil replied, “I am going to help him organize it.”
I maintain that truth is a pathless land, and you cannot approach it by any path whatsoever, by any religion, by any sect. That is my point of view, and I adhere to that absolutely and unconditionally. Truth, being limitless, unconditioned, un approachable by any path whatsoever, cannot be organized; nor should any organization be formed to lead or to coerce people along any particular path. If you understand that, then you will see how impossible it is to organize a belief. A belief is purely an individual matter, and you must not organize it. If you do, it becomes dead, crystallized; it becomes a creed, a sect, a religion, to be imposed on others. This is what everyone throughout the world is attempting to do. Truth is narrowed down and made a plaything for those who are weak, for those who are only momentarily discontented. Truth cannot be brought down, rather the individual must make the effort to ascend to it. You cannot bring the mountintop to the valley. If you would attain to the mountaintop, you must pass through the valley, climb the steeps, unafraid of the dangerous precipices. You must climb towards the truth, it cannot be “stepped down” or organized for you. Interest in ideas is mainly sustained by organizations, but organizations only awaken interest from without. Interest, which is born out of love of truth for its own sake, but aroused by an organization, is of no value. The organization becomes a framework into which its members can conveniently fit. They no longer strive after the truth or the mountaintop, but rather carve for themselves a convenient niche in which they put themselves, or let the organization place them, and consider that the organization will thereby lead them truth. . . . .I maintain that no organization can lead man to spirituality.
If an organization is to be created for this purpose, it becomes a crutch, a weakness, a bondage, and must cripple the individual, and prevent him from growing, from establishing his uniqueness, which lies in the discovery, for himself of the absolute, unconditioned truth. So that is another reason why I have decided, as I happen to be the head of the order, to dissolve it. No one has persuaded me to this decision.
This is no magnificent dead, because I do not want followers, and I mean this. The moment you follow someone you cease to follow the truth. I am not concerned with whether you pay attention to what I say or not. I want to do a certain thing in the world and I am going to do it with unwavering concentration. I am concerning myself with only one essential thing: to set man free. I desire to free him from his cages, from all fears, and not to found religions, new sects, nor to establish new theories or philosophies. Then you will naturally ask me why I go the world over, continually speaking. I will tell you for what reason I do this; not because I desire a following, not because I desire I desire a special group of disciples. (How men love to be different from their fellowmen, however ridicules, absurd, and trivial the distinctions may be! I do not want to encourage that absurdity.) I have no disciples, no apostles, either on earth or in the realm of spirituality.
. . . . . . . .If there are only five people who listen, who will live, who will face their faces towards uncertainty, it will be sufficient. Of what use is it to have thousands who do not understand, who are fully embalmed in prejudice, who do not want new, but would rather translate the new to suit their own sterile, stagnant selves? If I speak strongly, please do not misunderstand me, it is not through lack of compassion. If you go to the surgeon for an operation, is it kindness on his part to operate even if it causes you pain? So, in a like manner, if I speak straightly, it is not through lack of real affection  on the contrary.
. . . For eighteen years you have been preparing for this event, for the Coming of the world teacher. For eighteen years you have organized, you have looked for someone who would give a new delight to your hearts and minds, who would transform your whole life, who would give you a new understanding; for someone who would raise you to a new plane of life, who would give you a new encouragement, who would set you free  and now look what is happening! Consider, reason with yourselves, and discover in what way belief has made you different  not with the superficial difference of the wearing of the badge, which is trivial, absurd. In what manner has such belief swept away all the essential things of life? That is the only way to judge ; in what way are you free, greater, more dangerous to every society which is based on the false and unessential? In what way have the members of this organization of the Star become different?
. . . You are all depending for your spirituality on someone else, for your happiness on someone else, for your enlightenment on someone else; and although you have been preparing for me eighteen years, when I say these things are unnecessary, when I say that you must put them all away and look within yourselves for the enlightenment, for the glory, for the purification, and for the incorruptibility of the self, not one of you is willing to do it. There may be a few, but very, very few.
So why have an organization?
. . . .I said last year that I would compromise. Very few listened to me then. This year I have made it absolutely clear. I do not know how many thousands throughout the world  members of the Order  have been preparing for me for eighteen years, and yet now they are not willing to listen unconditionally, wholly, to what I say.
So why have an organization?
. . . .You will see how absurd is the whole structure that you have built, looking for external help, depending on others for your comfort, for your happiness, for your strength. These can only be found within yourselves.
So why have an organization?
You are accustomed to being told how far you have advanced, what is your spiritual status. How childish! Who but yourself can tell you if you are incorruptible? You are not serious in these things.
So why have an organization?
But those who really desire to understand, who are looking to find that which is eternal, without beginning, and without end, will walk together with great intensity, will be a danger to everything that is unessential, to unreality’s, to shadows. And they will concentrate, they will become a flame, because they understand. Such a body we must create, and that is my purpose. Because of that real understanding their will be friendship. Because of that true friendship  which you do not seem to know  there will be real cooperation on the part of each one. And this is not because of authority, not because of salvation, not because of immolation for a cause, but because you really understand, and hence are capable of living in the eternal. This is a greater thing then all pleasure, than all sacrifice.
So these are some of the reasons why, after careful consideration for two years, I have made this decision. It is not from a momentary impulse. I have not been persuaded to it by anyone. I am not persuaded in such things. For two years I have been thinking about it, this, slowly, carefully, patiently, and I have decided to disband the Order, as I happen to be its head. You can form other organizations and expect someone else. With that I am not concerned, nor with creating new cages, new decorations for the cages. My only concern is to set men free absolutely, unconditionally free.

Islam is an organized religion. Pure and simple Facists is an inaccurate term to use.
cult or totalitarianism would have been better
but given that Bush is a Zionist/Evangelist ***, him using the term cult or totalitarianism would be like the pot calling the kettle black.
Bush, to me, is a fool. And so are most American politicians.
Either choose to be 1. the most powerful bigot
2. or discourage
organised religion
option 1 means smashing the middle east with nuclear and chemical and biological weapons.
And america has that power.
Crash a plane into the pentagon? gas a town
Shoot tourist at an airport? tactically nuke a city
hostages? kidnapp the terrorists families and friends and arrange a fair exchange (incidentally this is how Israel plays the game. when was the last time Israeli airlines got hijacked? Thick about it. It vicious and cruel,i wouldn't approve, but it works.)
option 2. Start a campaign from grassroots level emphasizing science and philosophy; stop buying the evangelist and jewish vote.
Stop wasting time discussing abortion and all that religious rot and spend time figuring out how to improve the American economy, improve American lives.
Stop sending money to Israel that could be better spent on Americans like the the Americans in NEW ORLEANS.
In other words stop being a bigot and offending the rest of the (bigotted religious) world
and eliminate extremism (including Islamic exremism) in America.
]
Bush has openly chosen to show his prejudice against Muslims and YET he does little to make them cower.
Which option will the republicans take? Or will they take the 3rd option of continuing their present policies and watch more Americans die fruitlessly in Iraq?

Well. That sure is something, James.
I have to tell you, I strongly disagree with your options and suggestions. You think that we should, basically, allow Islam to take over the world. If the US simply lets Islam do what it wants in the Middle East, they will not stop there. They want us DEAD. They don't care how good our economy is. They don't care about science and philosophy. They do not care how much money we give to incompetents in New Orleans.
You claim we shouldn't "offend" them? Simply by being ALIVE we offend them. Therefore, the ONLY way to not offend them is to simply die or convert to Islam.
I think the Republicans should do something different -- I think they should kill the bastards before they kill us. I know you don't like that choice, but your option 1 is kill them, while your option 2 is that they kill us.

i NEVER said we should let these islamic cultist/racist take over the world; far from it.
And islamic racism has affected me here in singapore as well
Heard of Malaysia? It's accross the border from Singapore. Their constituition GUARANTEES special rights for malay-muslims. From university admission to jobs. There is a quota on how many chinese people a company can hire.
They have religious police patrolling malaysia, and if you kiss your girlfriend in public they can arrest you. Like our good friends the saudis, yes?
Singapore was actually part of Malaysia for 2 years before they kicked us out; singapore had too many chinese peopple for their taste.
Thats the problem to our north
Now to the south: Indonesia.
Until recently the racist muslim government did not allow celebration of chinese new year.
Chinese victims of crime never get justice in Indonesia.
There have been massive race riots in Indonesia many times now, the last was in 1997? I cannot recall.
But each time Muslims went on a campaign of pillage rape and murder. The muslim police and army of course did nothing.
Many Malaysian and Indonesian chinese now seek refuge in Singapore. Or elsewhere; a friend of mine, jakarta born now calls Australia his home.
And the muslims complain Aus are racists?
So far my friend hasn't had more complains of Aussies than Indons- in fact none.
Here we are 3 million chinese + a million plus more people, all of whom are generally racially indifferent surrounded at present by a sea of TWO-HUNDRED AND THIRTY MILLION MUSLIMS, MANY OF WHOM HATE OUR GUTS. We are pluralistic and prosperous and for that they hate us.
Incidentally the jews empathized with us; our military was israeli trained.
We had to smuggle the Israeli military advisors in as "Mexicans" to avoid mass protests in Malaysia. Anyhow they found out eventually. Not quite sure what happened but i know they weren't too happy.
Indonesians and Malaysia are now a breeding ground, a fertile one, for Al Queda. Their branch in this region is called Jermiah Islamia.
Did i mention that the recently retired Malaysian prime minister, Mahatir Mohammed dream of a world ruled by a "benovelent" muslim empire, a world in which jews would be annhilated and everyone, white man, yellow man would kow-tow to muslims? No? now you know.
So plz clarify, folks exactly what i said that made me sound like a terrorists ass kisser.
I only meant to discuss certain paths the US gov should take in the war on terror, or more correctly a war on bigottry.
I'm just saying that the US gov should display more tact to avoid getting snipped by the ultra-liberals which tacitly support the terroroists whilst strengthening their military presence in terrorist countries simultaneously.
Criticise them, but be even handed. A word like "facists" only invites ridicule.
Start criticising the Saudis.
Why aren't obviously prejudiced extreme politicians in Saudi implicated in the war on terror? Take out the Saudi gov. The US keeps saying they are allies; its like calling Nazis allies. They implement social policies which produce ALMOST ALL THE world's terrorists.
A friend of mine once worked in Saudi. Do you know that these Saudis complain that the Americans and the West are insensitive whilst all religions OTHER THAN THE EXTREMIST BRAND OF ISLAM CALLED Wahhabism are OUTLAWED?
Woman can't stand in the same queue as men at a supermarket. Apparently Wahhabist are so horny they can't help but rape woman they come into contact with. Why are american presidents so friendly to these women hating nutters? Maybe Rice should wear a headscarf?
"Ibn 'Abd Al-Wahhab made a name for himself through a series of actions. First, after he returned to al-Uyayna, he persuaded the ruler of the town to destroy a sacred tomb revered by local Muslims, citing the Prophet Muhammed's teaching that forbade idol-worship. Secondly, he ordered that an adulteress be stoned to death, a practice that had become uncommon in the area."
Why do muslim extremist have manopoly on propaganda and the media? Its time for the US and every1 to fight back, but be even handed we don't want to SWOOP TO THEIR LEVEL.
Start distributing anti-extremist phaphlets. Assasinate pro-extemist middle eastern newscasters.. e.t.c
The US should start demanding APOLOGIES FROM THE MUSLIMS GOVERNMENTS. Never ever should they offer apologies; the muslim public will only take apologies as justification for 9-11 which incidentally killed many muslims as well... yet another thing the US should remind them of.
Why doesn't Bush mention these things? Quote how many muslims are killed in EACN & EVERY terrorist attack. They FAR OUTWEIGHT THE numbers killed by american bombs.
Arrest all those hate preachers in the US and send them to Cuba. why does the US gov offer freedom of speech and civil liberties to people who don't respect them?
Persuade as many muslims as you can to join our side, nuke those you can't.
And frankly this is the policey taken by my Singapore gov.
Newspapers here criticise extremist all the time; there's no talk about apologizing to them.
Gov officials from time to time will meet with muslim leaders. Those that don't agree with government policies of racial & religious tolerance will have a few days chat
Simple.

few days chat with Internal security. sorry left that out.
When i mean don't offend i meant don't swoop to their level thats all.
Just mention the truth - that they are the real racists, the real murderers and truth is most offensive of all. But this way you discredit the terrorists rather than fuel support for them.
(don't call them facists)

I'd certainly agree with criticizing the Saudis -- that's certainly warranted -- indeed, that was the point of my rant here.
But when you gave option #2 as "Start a campaign from grassroots level emphasizing science and philosophy" and "stop being a bigot and offending the rest of the (bigotted religious) world" -- that's saying to leave the Islamists alone. The ONLY way to not offend them is to die or surrender -- otherwise they're offended!
Yes, absolutely, point out they are what they are. But they WILL be offended -- AND I DON'T CARE.

Environment Victories = Freedom's Defeat
The anti-freedom North Carolina Conservation Network has released it's
victory list of the 2006 North Carolina Legislative session. Every single one of their "victories" was a loss of freedom.
$179,000 for "Shellfish pollution monitoring" -- from the taxpayer, of course. While legislators are claiming to have cut the budget "to the bone," they're spending tax money to map shellfish water surveys. How much bread could "the poor" buy with $179,000? How much of the $2 Billion tax increase this year was wasted on such programs?
If you dare to get your water from a private well on your own property, the "victory" achieved this year was that you might not be able to drink your own damn water if the state decides it's not "safe" enough for you. They put in new standards, with additional spending for testing and compliance for private drinking wells. Sorry, no freedom for you.
The legislature passed a ban on throwing away trash, calling it a moratorium on landfills. There's no word on whether you should just empty your trash containers on the front lawn of the legislature, or whether you should dump in in the legislative chambers themselves.
They also claimed victory when the legislature, by fiat, declared all school children safer -- because they limited arsenic in treated wood. The fact that this had nothing to do with actual safety, except actually making the wood products LESS safe because they cannot be treated for exposure, is not mentioned.
Oh, and the legislature passed numerous "studies" that will spend piles of cash because they literally have unlimited cash to spend.
So as your freedom decreases and your taxes increase; while there is zero change in the environment, feel free to thank the North Carolina "Conservation" Network. The only thing they are apparently interested in conserving is their own jobs and government spending on themselves.

I guess I can't complain too much about something that I don't have to pay for -- unless I'm a Democrat, then I can declare that I'm entitled to free email...I seem to be getting this error more and more often. Anyone else?

So, if you're waiting for email from me, it might be awhile.

Border Patrol Agents Sentencing
Folks, this issue is really a travesty. If you haven't heard about this, please do pay attention -- it shows the heart of the current battle against the illegal invaders from Mexico.
Two Border Patrol agents are about to be sentenced for enforcing the border laws -- and they may get sent to prison for 20 years -- FOR ENFORCING THE BORDER LAWS.
Please do read this post in the extended entry. What is happening here is very, very wrong. It is not very often that I promote signing any of the hundreds of petitions that are promoted on the internet, but this one is really, really big. If these agents are sentenced, it will complete the absolute and total neutering of any attempt at a southern border.

EXACTLY!
That's why this is such an important issue. If this punishment goes on as planned, that is the final result of the border patrol. They will be placed IN PRISON if they actually attempt to enforce the border!

Unimaginable, but somehow, likely. This IS the state of our southern border. It is NO exaggeration to say that if they receive this sentence, WE WILL HAVE NO BORDER.

I remember when the news first came out about this and thinking, "so much for any further recruitment of good people or any future initiative on the part of other BP officers".
I've seen this happen with city cops in a few places -- a few are disciplined for violating some PC code or other or brought up on charges for something they were forced to do in the heat of an adrenalized situation, and their brother cops just say, "okay, fine -- from now on, I'm not taking any more risks... I'll just keep a low profile and throw in my papers with 20."

I am ashamed of our American government. This can't be happening! What, so now it's okay to disrepect America, bring illegal drugs and people into America? Dirty America up with the sludge that has to sneak in, sell drugs and have no loyalty to our country? WE the people must join together and STOP the insane decisions that are made by those that are not putting America and her best interest before their own. THIS IS AMERICA. We have every right to protect her borders and we should protect her borders at any cost. I am glad those two border patrol agents were there protecting America's borders and stopped the illegal, disrespectful SOB that was smuggling drugs into America. It is too bad that there are not more of them like that protecting our borders. They put their lives on the line daily and what does our government do. I will tell you. They put together all of these BS policies and procedures as to how America's borders can be protected. We all know what that means. Were suppose to shake their hand as they walk across the border with their drugs and whatever other junk they bring with them and then pat them on the back. Other countries protect their borders why can't America? I am distgusted that our government would allow such nonsense to take place. Charge and convict border patrol agents? Unbelievable!! They may get 20 years or longer in prison for doing their job. Oh, but the illegal drug smuggler, gets a handshake and a pat on the back. The illegal gets amnesty and medical treatment and now claims his civil rights were violated. Please. He didn't have any civil rights, he was illegally crossing the border. We must do whatever we can to save these hero's from spending anymore of their life in a cell. WE the people!!!! That is what Amercia stands for. Not,WE the government!

I told my father about this a couple of days ago. He did not believe it and said there was just no way that this could be happening as he had never heard about it before.
Let's ASSUME that the agent saw no shiny object in the guys hand....let's ASSUME that the guy was fleeing and had his back to the agent. The fact STILL remains that the PERPETRATOR INJURED his partner causing a DIRECT THREAT to their very lives AND illegal drugs were found at the scene. WHO CARES ABOUT THE SHELL CASINGS! SHOOT THE BA$&@%d.
And what is this with his 'civil rights' being violated? Um....you don't GET those UNTIL you are a US CITIZEN. Wanna fight for your Mexican Civil Rights being violated? Go right ahead....you were in the USA at the time of your felonious activities.
And...what I have only read once, but would like to know MORE about, is this FELON was arrested SINCE then for smuggling MORE drugs into our country. But oh yeah, that's okay because he has immunity and Civil Rights and he's not even a citizen...he's nothing more than a Felon, thug and drug pusher.
Thank God they postponed the hearing.
Who wants to bet that we will never see this over a TV broadcast????
The US Attorney General should be arrested and given 20 years for being not only an absolute idiot but also being aligned with drug dealers and violating a citizen's constitutional right to a FAIR TRIAL!

Indeed, the prosecutor of this case should be jailed at the least. But you're right, this will just continue under the radar until they finish this travesty.
But under the new Constitution promoted by the left, everyone on the planet has all the rights "granted" by the U.S. Constitution, with zero exceptions, EVER. That's where the left is bringing America -- sad, but true.
Thanks for stopping by!

Disgusting! Our officials should be put in prison and our two border patrol officers put in charge. We are going to lose our country to Mexico and our gov't doesn't want to do anything but hand it over to them. We are in more trouble than terrorists could ever put us through. I am a republican and am ashamed of President Bush and his "buddies" down south.

The AG MAY consult with the Secretary, but is not required to. Both of them, however, work for Bush, who is SUPPOSED to work for the people. But that would be a representative republic, which is just a dream today.

War on Drugs
Folks, we've lost. While many complain about the money spent on the war in Iraq and the war on terror, how about the families destroyed by and the massive amount of money spent on the war on drugs? At what point do we declare victory?
Need more evidence? How about 5,000 policemen who made a video opposing the war on drugs? And don't forget -- if you are called to jury duty in a criminal case regarding drugs, you are completely, 100% within your rights to declare a "not guilty" decision, no matter the facts. Juries ARE allowed to ignore laws -- that's why they exist!

Because they incarcerate the victims who have been hooked on the drugs instead of getting them treatment so they no longer need to purchase it. They don't put drug deals to death - like I think they should; the big cartels for sure, or put small timers in prison for life.

I don't agree with treatment, either, to be honest -- at least not government treatment. If the government would stop treating drug addicts, you can be sure private groups would be happy to do it -- and those who refused treatment, it sounds harsh, but let them kill themselves. And if they harm someone else before that, punish them for the harm they did, not for carrying around some dried leaves!

NC Judge Rules Peons Acceptable
No, really. The
king judge who has decided that the North Carolina Constitution does not apply to him because "it's for the children," has ruled that the peasants have "done what I want done."
Judge Manning, who has declared himself king of education in North Carolina, had said that he would order schools closed if they didn't spend more money. How much more was not dictated, but the judge clearly outlined that HE would determine how much money the schools would spend. He then ruled that if they did not spend "enough" money, that HE, personally, would ORDER the schools to close. Last week he decided he would permit them to open.
I wish he would have "ordered" them closed.
I wonder if the judge has ever actually read the Constitution. I wonder if he knows that spending, according to the Constitution, is to be determined by the legislative branch, and not the judicial. I wonder if he knows that creating and enforcing laws is to be done by the executive branch, not the judicial. I think he does, which is why he didn't order the schools closed -- I don't think they would have listened.

Mudslinging in NC
It's standard fare in the semi-annual political battles for the United States House -- sling mud, call names, see what "sticks" to your opponent. Of course, the first casualty of these actions is the truth. Opponents of
Robin Hayes are actually claiming that Robin Hayes
kills puppies. Seriously.
For those who don't want to follow the link into the sewers, the post is about a news report that 60 dogs died in a traffic accident -- and because the government didn't stop people from shipping pets so you could buy them (free enterprise), it's Robin Hayes' fault they died. And if you think that post is a joke, check the comments:
"I realized Hayes really does hold some responsibility for the ... death of those dogs."
"This is no joke"
"Robin Hayes fiddled and 60 puppies burned."
"Our favorite Foxx is on Hayes' puppy killing committee."
And this is from the self-proclaimed "reality-based" community.

Criminals Free to Hide
In case you missed it, government officials have
now declared that if you are a convicted criminal and wanted for admitted crimes, you do not have to face any punishment or consequences. Instead, you may go to a church and avoid all jail time, fines, or anything else that a judge decides. It is not clear if it has to be a United Methodist Church, or if you can hide in any church you like. I'm going to email the federal authorities here in North Carolina to ask for confirmation.

Great post on Elvira. Elvira will never be arrested. I went back to 2001 interviews with Juan Hernandex and John McCain and both talked about open borders. Think NAFTA super highway, SPP.gov and Bush not securing the southern border. This sovereign country is on it's way out and we will soon be a minority answering to Hispanics and Muslims. Big business and the new world order folks will bring the North American Union. I hope I am not alive to see it. Until then I will fly my flag every day.

This illegal invader's hiding in a church is setting a dangerous precedent. And the feds are caving in. I look for many, many more such incidents.
As my flag has done every since 9/11, it flies from my front porch, and I have pig ornaments on my porch as well. The latter are a little anti-Muslim insurance.

And the Second Amendment will keep that flag flying there until I'm out of bullets. I guess that I'm like my grandmother, who held off the power company here by making the poor fellows stare down the barrel of a shotgun--the power lines went in a few blocks south of the property.
On a very serious note here...That NAFTA superhighway is so very dangerous to our national security and our national sovereignty. I'm beyond disappointed with GWB on that issue and the issue of illegal invaders.

NC Democrat "Success"
Want to know how the Democrats of North Carolina spell success? M-O-N-E-Y. Don't believe me? How about in their own words? Here's NC Senator Kay Hagan (Democrat):
We [Democrats] have also led the way in education. From 1994-2004, North Carolina was among the top states in raising teacher pay; this year we've proposed an additional 8 percent raise to help recruit and retain the best educators. Our education lottery will generate more than $400 million a year to reduce class sizes and increase college scholarships.
So literally, Democrats in North Carolina define "successful" as spending more money. Note there is nothing in that quote about anything to do with educating -- just spending more.
If you hate having your own money, keep voting Democrat.

YOu know, I've tried to comment for awhile from my cell but I'm unable to do so. While I was on Vacation in FLa I fell in love with the south all over again.
Then I visit you and my love for the south is tempered by the sad realism of what I read on your blog. I've always loved NC, especially Charlotte & Raleigh, but with what happened this week there and these types of politicians I think I'd rather look into WV or Virgina.
That is, unless the conservatives do manage to get and retain control of the GA over the next few years.

It's funny, though, since despite all their spending the quality of education is going down in NC. I assume that most of the money is going to the cost of buses to move kids from one side of town to another. Heck, in Raleigh, 10,000 students were moved to different schools.

The people and weather in NC are nice. The politics run by Democrats, are NOT nice. Sorry, Michele.
And Teach, why do you think quality of education has anything to do with success? Educating people has absolutely nothing to do with the government-run education system. Nothing. Understand that and everything will make perfect sense.

Conservatives in NC
The last couple of days, I've mentioned a few changes that would take place if the North Carolina General Assembly were run by conservatives. But what would have to take place for conservatives to actually obtain that power? Actually, if there were accurate representation in Raleigh and no gerrymandering, they'd already control it since nearly 50% of all voters self-identify as "conservative" in the state. But realistically, this year, could conservatives obtain control?
According to Max Veale, just four liberals in the House and five in the Senate could shift the entire balance of power in the state.

Property Rights: Riviera Beach, FL
Perhaps, since you hadn't heard about the fight for property rights in Riviera Beach, Fl, you thought it was all settled. If you thought that, you'd be wrong. Instead, government officials in Florida continue to use their monopoly power on force to attempt to
harass and intimidate any who oppose them.
Governments are supposed to serve people, not the other way around. Any government official that's found using the power of government to harass and intimidate should be removed from power immediately -- but if the government controls the power, what power can be used? When the mayor sends the police to harass you, what choice do you have? Who can you call? Where do you go for help?

Thank you very much. Spam got to the point where it was crushing the server, so we had to turn trackbacks off.

We've got a big to-do here in Fairfax County. The Zoning people issued building permits for houses with roofs higher than the limit of 35 feet. Now there are many people who've paid for McMansions and can't get their occupancy permits.
We don't own our own homes. The damn County does!

Oh, no! How DARE they build 36-foot buildings! The world is coming to an end! A-hole bureaucrats.

Conservatives in NC General Assembly?
What else would be different if conservatives controlled the North Carolina General Assembly? Yesterday
I mentioned some of the biggest differences. But one of the most obvious differences would be the bills that would be proposed and the laws that would be passed. Hundreds, if not thousands of good conservative bills have been ignored -- often simply because of the person who proposed them. That would all change. With conservatives in charge, bills would get up or down votes. And good bills would pass.
For example, conservatives have introduced the Defense of Marriage Act three years in a row. Over 50% of the House has signed on as sponsors of the Act -- but the Act has not gotten a hearing in the House because the Democrat leadership will simply not allow it.
Conservatives would likely introduce baseline budgeting and a taxpayer bill of rights that would actually limit the utter out of control spending of the Democrats. When times are good, Democrats spend more money because they have it. When times are tight, Democrats spend more money because they need to "stimulate the economy." Conservatives would get a handle on spending.
48% of the state's residents self-identify themselves as conservatives. Isn't it about time we had a government of the people and by the people?

Cherrix Freed (Sort of)
A couple weeks ago I mentioned the story of government intrusion into personal lives when the Virginia Department of Social Services (or DPS, whatever the morons call it) demanded that a person take radiation treatment or he and his family would be locked up in jail (for his own good, of course). The family decided to fight and appear to have partially beaten the horrible government system.
The family and the enemy scum spineless, weak-kneed power-hungry bureaucrats government agency reached a "consent decree" to avoid a hearing. According to news reports, the boy will see an oncologist who is "interested in alternative treatments" -- so they will not be forced to receive deadly radiation therapy against their will.
However, they are also required to "provide the court updates" on his medical condition every 3 months. Yes, that's what we need to cram the damn overcrowded court system with -- updates on a person's medical treatments. There's a great use for tax money, isn't it? And there's no word what will happen if the state-approved oncologist suggests radiation treatment and the state subject (read: peon) refuses.
Oh, how I yearn for freedom.

Reporters Invincible
I wonder if a reporter would feel "obligated" to report a crime they witnessed. I wonder if they actually saw a person pull the trigger of a gun and murder someone in cold blood if the reporter would call for a "shield law" so they could report what they saw without actually revealing the criminals name.
That sure seems to be the case. In the Bonds/Steroid scandal, someone broke the law. Someone was directly told by a judge to NOT reveal information about an ONGOING criminal case. That some person ran to a reporter and told them what they knew, clearly violating the judge's order. Now the judge is ordering the reporter to reveal the identity of the criminal -- and the reporters are refusing on "First Amendment" grounds.
If that's a valid excuse, then any criminal can object to any order by any judge with the same excuse. "Gee, judge, I can't tell you who I saw commit that crime because the First Amendment shields me." How about you just tell us who broke the damn law?

Someone had better show me where the words "...and reporters don't have to obey a court order to testify" appear in the First Amendment, because my copy of the Constitution sure doesn't have 'em.

Good call, Francis. Nor does it include any Right to keep their sources secret.

I think you guys have an "old" copy of the Constitution. If yours isn't written in pencil, you don't have the current liberal copy.

The Progressive Democrats' Sales Tax
I consider myself to be fairly liberal on most issues. So some of you might be surprised that I am about to take a position that’s usually the providence of hardcore conservatives. I support HR25—the Fair Tax Act of 2005.

Most sales taxes make life considerably harder for the impoverished, because they increase the cost of basic necessities
Most of the tax on inelastic goods (one definition of "necessities") is paid by the buyer, but that's true even if the tax is nominally paid by the producer in other forms, because the price goes up. As you recognize further down the page, such a change in the tax structure reduces the producers' (nominal) costs, and thus will reduce the (nominal) prices of goods, including necessities, though perhaps not by the full 23%.

Very accurate.
When the price falls for the producer, they will fall for the buyer -- presuming a free market, of course. If there is no competition (read: government monopoly), then there is no incentive for the price to drop.
Businesses "pay" so much in taxes today because they're easy targets. The businesses don't much care if the taxes go up, because they'll just charge more and make a profit. In this type of society, ALL taxes are paid by consumers.
