Bedside Table Meme

Ah, carp with a side-order of fries. It seems I've been tagged by Boudicca (a short Celtic woman continually checking her watch outside the restroom) with a silly bedside table meme.

Most of my gentle readers know how I feel about memes. Then again, I am an Ogre, so I pretty much feel the same way about everything else in the world. But I am a truly optimistic Ogre -- no, really! Despite what you might think of what you read here, I almost always see the glass as half full. Anyway, on to the meme:

The first thing you have to do when answering a meme is read the rules in the post in which you were tagged. So, I headed over to post and looked for the rules -- no rules! Yay! One of the first rules of memes is that when no rules are posted, you may follow your own rules!

It would appear that the meme wants to know what's on my "bedside table." What is this "table" thing of which you speak? I looked up bedside in the dictionary, and it said, "The side of a bed." So apparently, some people have tables on the side of their bed. Ok, sounds like fun, I'll give it a shot:

I don't know how you people actually get things to stay on your bedside tables...

1 Yay! This is great! ;-) Heh, and not just any restrooms, mind you, but Men's restrooms!

3 Well, I wasn't going to tell, Bou... And yes, Flannel, it is. Good call from just that picture.

4 Duct tape? Zip ties? Superglue?

5 Those might work, I'll give them a shot.

6 Wait... it's coming to me now... a red FRESHLY WAXED Ford?

7 I guess I should zoom in that picture a little -- it was most recently carrying a huge load of gravel -- so the entire thing, inside and out, is coated with a fine grey dust. If the weather's good tomorrow, I might wax it, but it's supposed to rain...

8 EVEN BETTER! If it rains, you won't have to worry, or didn't you read the fine print when you bought a Ford truck? The definition of washing a Ford truck is LITERALLY any time water (any amount of water to be exact) comes in contact with any part of the truck. So, this means if you have a nice cold soda or bottle of water (or whatever) and it starts to sweat in the cup-holder (or on the seat or where-ever) YOU JUST WASHED YOUR TRUCK! By the way, I stand by my long running statement that you need help. Personally, I have finally admitted (and accepted) that I am WAY BEYOND any help!

9 I have thrown soap on the thing and left it out in the rain before...
