Mishap with a curling iron? Poor kitty. I used to have a cat with a tail shaped like a bent-up coat hanger. The vet says he was probably born that way.

The ear is merely a distraction. Looking at the eyes, we see a cat that is stalking its prey.

Always. Absolutely Always.

That is caused by the cat shaking its head and breaking a blood-vessel. They sometimes fill with blood and harden up and will stay that way. I have a cat with that same problem, same ear. He is 15 years old. Had a blueheeler that broke down both ears as well. Might check em for ear mites.

Yup, that's what the vet said -- he checked both ears rather throughly, and there were none there! Thanks for the tip, loboinok!
