Danger Outside!

The editors of the Charlotte Observer are teaming with unelected bureaucrats to yell that you're supposed to be inside! How DARE you walk outdoors! It's dangerous out there and you should simply NOT be allowed to be outside. After all, you might die!

That's because yesterday was a code orange and even, later in the day, a code "red" day. Dannye Powell, self-proclaimed "senior" searched all over town yesterday to find people obeying the government. She apparently had a lot of trouble finding anyone who cared that the government was even issuing these colored warnings.

But despite the fact that people wanted to be free to do what they wanted, Miss Powell continued to agree with the government and suggested that no one go outside -- because you might die. Shouldn't government protect us all from dying, all the time? Remember to heed those warnings that you're paying various government agencies to generate -- otherwise why are we paying for them?
