_____________________ (insert scary thing here) is getting worse! More and more participants in this activity might possible get hurt. In fact, if you even so much as talk to these people, you might get hurt or even killed. Currently, the government is (not/lightly/somewhat) regulating this industry. But (hundreds/thousands/billions) of people could be saved from potential injury and death if there were more regulation. The ___________ (make up new, cool sounding name) commission, formed by Democrats, has suggested that there should be more oversight and regulation for safety.
(Note: leave out all references to freedom of choice and all references to any costs associated with enormous government monitoring of things which free people should be allowed to do).

And it doesn't even have to make sense to make it into print. This complaint is that doctors aren't regulated and therefore people shouldn't trust them. I guess the Observer missed the latest survey on who they trust with ethics and honesty the most -- for Doctors, 69% of people thought they were very highly trusted. Journalists? Only 26% thought they were highly ethical.
