0.22 is an acceptable BAC for driving if you cannot speak English, says defense attorneys and judges in Durham, NC. Good thing we don't prosecute illegal aliens, isn't it?

There are now numerous cases where pond-scum dirtbags defense lawyers are now successfully arguing that you cannot arrest someone for DUI without reading them their rights in their native tongue. District Judge Jim Hill says "It's not a black-and-white issue."

This judge and others have thrown out convictions of drunk drivers with 0.22 BAC because they were spanish. Never mind equal protection under the law -- according to these judges, the United States of America, and North Carolina, are REQUIRED that every single police officer learn to speak every language on the planet.

How else could it be otherwise? Georgia and Ohio, who have similar DUI laws, have already ruled that it's impossible for police officers to speak every known language. Unfortunately, Durham, NC, is being effectively ordered to learn every single language.

The waste of life crap-eating underside of snakes defense lawyers argue "Just because somebody doesn't speak English doesn't mean he can be railroaded. That would be very offensive." Oh no, we wouldn't want to offend anyone, would we? Hey morons, I'm offended that these people break the law and come to this country illegally, refuse to learn the language, and get to break even more laws and kill people without being punished.

And here I was always taught that ignorance of the law was not a defense. Now, according to some judges, it is.
