Well, I know that's not really news, because that IS what France does...but this time France
to...
Of course, an argument could be made that the invading muslim army is not French, but the press insists that they are -- so France has now surrendered to France.
I'd like to say it wasn't expected, but they didn't know who else to surrender to, I guess...

Well, how many years has it been since France has been a participant in a good surrender?

RIOTS IN FIGURES
8,973 cars burnt
2,888 arrests
20 nights of riots
Source: National police
Nationwide, 163 cars were burnt - almost down to the levels seen before the riots began last month.
National Police Chief Michel Gaudin said on Tuesday the decline showed France was "getting back to normal".
But Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin told parliament "we cannot accept that more than 200 cars burn each night".
So according to the BBC, approximately 150 cars are torched every night in France? Am I reading this right? 200 torched cars are acceptable?
I just read that they are placing some blame on polygamy now.
Talk about tap dancing down jackass alley to whitewash this and blame everything except what is to blame. Can't use that M word can they?

Holy crap! It's normal for ANY cars to be burnt? What is that, a hobby in France? Do the thugs sit around at night and say, "Well, Mohommed, we've only burned 2 cars tonight -- you want to burn a couple more or call it quits for today?"

Oh, that's right. I wonder if the factory warranty covers "suddenly bursting into flames?"

About 100 cars burn every night in France, and have for about 15 years.

That's just insane. 100 cars? Every night? What a peaceful place that must be.
