Fun Facts about Llamas?

Wow. I just found this great, fact-filled page about llamas. I just learned so much. I think I've replaced the part of my brain that remembers how to walk with great llama knowledge. Who would have known things like this about llamas:

Llamas are bigger than frogs.
The llama lives in big rivers, like the Amazon
The llama has a heart, two eyes, a forehead, and a beak for eating honey
They are also equippped with fins for swimming
They live on a diet of live humans
They pee on your lawn

Facially, the llama resembles a cross between a rabbit and a camel. And a kangaroo. There's a llittle bit of goat there, too. Their bodies are best described by imagining a medium-sized deer wearing thick, bobbled cotton pyjamas. Llamas are thus one of the best evolutionary arguments against the purported theory of intelligent design.

And how about this introduction:

The Llama (lat. Lama glama panorama) is a llarge, camel llike animal with distinct llion features, was originally created by Lenny Washington. Growing up to 27' in some places, Llamas constitute a major part of the Welsh economy, bringing in millions of Euros each year (barring leap years, of course). The vast majority of llamas are not dangerous, although it could hurt were one of the bigger ones to topple on top of you.

You really should go read that page. You're sure to learn something.

1 Sometimes I worry about you, my friend! LMBO! Breeders in Colorado bred them in hope of replacing the more "enviro-destroying" mule. Hunting outfitters (stud muffins, one and all!) in Colorado have a favorite joke: "How do you pack a llama?" Answer: "one on either side of a mule." So much for the Californicated enviro-weenies grand plans. Thankfully, since they've infested my birth state!

2 I wonder which llama they were breeding: Llamas have varying llengths and stylles of fur, depending on the specific breed. Normall llamas (Lama glama docudrama) have short, woolllly brown fur. The "Outrageous Llama" (Lama glama bananarama) has very llong, wiry black fur, often dreadllocked or (occasionalllly) sideparted. The rarest breed of llama, the "Vicious Llama" (Llama glama cha-cha-cha), has no fur at allll - instead, they wear wigs. The most distinctive llama fur surely belongs to the Stoat-Tongued Alvatropintovloveaor Llama of Hessellink (Lama glama albatrosstacfloapduckama). Its fur is made of paper and glue.

3 Ogre, don't forget, llamas also taste great when grilled, and served with a baked potato and covered in gravy!

5 No wonder Welsh farmers are having to look for future wives via milk bottle lids.
