Hiring Illegals is OK in NC.

A couple weeks ago, the US government arrested 36 illegals who were breaking various laws, including immigration and employment laws. They were working for a government contractor company and were from numerous countries: Congo, the Gambia, Ghana, Guatemala, Indonesia, Israel, Kenya, Mexico, Pakistan, and Togo.

These 36 were "placed into removal proceedings." So they might be deported, but they might not. I can't find the details on these individuals, but usually they are released while awaiting their trials. Many never show back up again, of course.

I have waited a couple weeks to see what might happen to Cree, Inc., the company at which these illegals were working. So far, it's absolutely nothing. North Carolina does have laws against hiring illegals. Companies are supposed to be punished.

I'm waiting, Attorney General/Candidate for Governor Roy Cooper. When will you do your job?
