Human Zoo Exhibit

I had previously mentioned the morons in London who have created a zoo exhibit including people, instead of animals. This isn't the first time, and I bet it won't be the last, because so many people are plain idiots.

This week, the Christian Views Symposium (found over at Cross Blogging) asks some questions about that "exhibit."

Feel free to join in and provide your own answers to the questions over at the original post, or make your own post and link back to the original. You don't have to be a Christian to play (and answer), anyone can join in! The questions this week:

Is man a plague species?
Is man just another primate?
Is man superior to other animals?
What do you believe mansÂ’ relationship to animals is or should be?
So let's provide some answers, shall we?
Is man a plague species?

What? The London Zoo apparently coined this phrase. What in the world it means is up to anyone to attempt to determine, apparently.

A plague is an infection that kills or injures living things. Quite often is it a bacteria that works in the bloodstream, and it is normally quite contagious. Usually the term "plague" is applied to the Bubonic plague that spreads through rodents and fleas, and then to humans.

How in the world can you apply that term to a species? The London Zoo, who issued this statement, is just stupid people with an agenda. Apparently they don't like humans, and they apparently honestly believe that all humans on the planet should be destroyed. I think these people ought to be locked up so they don't present a danger to themselves and others.

There's no such thing as a "plague species."

Is man just another primate?

The only place and that man is "just another primate" is in strict biological definitions and terms. In other words, I can create any type of classification and then decide what creatures I want to place in the classification.

If my classification is "creatures with ears," then sure, man is "just another creature with ears." So, depending on who is making the definition of terms, man could be considered "just another primate."

However, in light of the clear worldview and obvious bias of the people making the statement (The London Stupid Zoo), they are clearly trying to reduce man to lower than animal status. Again, they show that they have some strange hatred of humans. In medical circles, this is often referred to as having an inferiority complex.

Perhaps this zoo "spokeswoman," Polly Wills, is "just another stupid idiot."

Is man superior to other animals?

Yes. In every way possible. I will never understand people that think we are not. Again, these people show they have an incredible, irrational fear or hatred of their own species. Don't they have mental institutions in England?
What do you believe mansÂ’ relationship to animals is or should be?

It's pretty clear to me:
Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth."

Thanks for asking, Lennie!

1 Leave it to the Brits to come up with something new. Actually, I thought it might be fun to watch them if they wore nothing, like the animals and engaged in primitive courtship rituals like cavemen or something like that. That would be a reason to visit the zoo. I would certainly go to the zoo to see that exhibit.

2 Thanks for stopping by, Skarr -- I'm actually kind of surprised that they DIDN'T do that with this exhibit. Maybe they're waiting to see how popular this "attraction" is.

3 That reached your news? It was only a little column here, if that. The "silly" news, if you will. I'm surprised it was picked up at all :-D

4 Well, it wasn't headline news, but it did make the front page of various news web sites. Silly is an understatement. I don't like it because they are being intentionally dishonest about things.
