Jessica's Law Fails in NC

There's an interesting article about why Jessica's Law didn't pass in North Carolina this year, despite the Democrats claiming it did -- sort of. Jessica's Law is a law that's been making the rounds through the states that seriously punishes absolutely mentally deformed people who sexually attack and kill small children.

The Democrats claim they passed a "strong" law regarding sexual predators -- and Jessica's Law would do just that. But that's not the law they passed. Jessica's Law basically says that these people are basically not human, cannot be "rehabilitated" and should be put to death because there is literally no hope for them. However, the law the Democrats passed said that they will monitor these people.

No, really.

The most violent, repeat sexual offenders will be monitored. That's it. No prison time, no death penalty, just give them a tracking device so we can tell where they are when they're committing these crimes. And this is victory to the Democrats.

Oh, and the biggest reason they didn't pass the good version of Jessica's Law? Because it was proposed by a Republican. That's all. The Democrats in Raleigh are so biased against Republicans that they literally do not care what the law is about -- if a Republican proposed it, they're against it.

Go ahead, keep electing Democrats to Raleigh (well, when you actually have a choice, that is).

1 I'm a huge supporter of Jessica's Law - and I have to say...."monitor?" Yeah, yeah that'll help. THAT'LL take care of the problem.... Holy Cow. I'm so sick of the political bias. We need to do whats RIGHT. No matter what.....

2 Sorry, that's not allowed in NC. Literally ANY bill proposed by Republicans will be killed by the Democrats. One of their primary election strategies is to claim they are "effective" legislators -- and "effective" is defined as what percentage of the bills you introduce are passed into law.

5 I question why I do not get any answers from the elected officials in NC .. written them all about Hounddog .. I mean all > from the Governor on down .. all I have gotton is silence. Silence of the Lambs? .. As our little Lambs (our children) or molested and killed. Can you hear the cries, are you listening?

6 NC stated they had the toughest laws for sexual predtaors in the US. That is not true. NC pales compared to most of the other states. Ga has 25 years to life and the death pently for some offences. Ga has a new law that offfenders can not live with in so many feet (forgot the feet) of school bus stops. Needed badly in rural Ga. Get this >The ACLU is bring a class action suit about this. A judge declared the sexual offender/predators a "CLASS". I bet that judge has some serious abnormal thoughts on sexual orintation his self. Our children are not considered a Class, we have to be their voice. We will see what we will see. But NC beter wake up > The sexual offenders are jumping ship to states with more liberal laws. The old saying with the cons .. do not commit crime in Ga, they have the chain gang > now it is move on boys you do the crime you will do the time. If spelling errors noted > I have dyslixia and no spell check here. Thanks for reading, be sure and sign petition about Houndog. It evens makes me mad they named the movie Hounddog .. damn I got a old blue myself.. a good blue heeler he is.

7 More and more today THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PROTECT YOU. If I encounter a sexual predator, I will kill him. I will physically kill him and take my chances with a jury. At least another child's life won't be destroyed by a monster.

8 If that ever happens (you kill the perp)I will be more than happy to go your bond. It would be like shooting a rattle snake, one does that with out blinking an eye.
