I would say that one of the worst side effects of having so much leisure time, so many people who work hard, and so many leeches who suck at the teat of the government; is the number of people who have time to show up at "marches" for free crap because they don't have to work for a living.

A number of people have noted that in response to the criminal invaders (formerly known as illegal immigrants) that Americans should protest. The problem is that the Americans who are supporting these criminals have to WORK to support them and don't have time to take off work to protest.

But, for another example, take the potential thieves who marched on the governor's mansion recently. They want $550,000 in cash. What for? Well, that doesn't really matter, does it? The bottom line is that they want the working people to work harder so they can have $550,000 to spend as they please.

Why don't they work and earn that money? There were supposedly 150 people who marched -- that's about $3,700 each. In a truly free society, they'd have two options -- have all 150 people work and earn that money, then they could do whatever they like with it -- or they could try and convince others to GIVE it to them willingly. If they've got a cause that companies and people support, they'd quite easily get that money.

But no, in this era of socialist government, especially in Democrat-run North Carolina, they choose a third option -- "protest," claim there's a crisis, and then DEMAND that hardworking citizens give them the money because they want it and don't want to work for it.

Oh, how I yearn for freedom.
