1 Has N.C. been completely taken over by crazies from up north? Sounds like the real people of North Carolina had better stand up or they'll be buried by the stupidy of the PC idiots. I know it has happened in several area's. The idiots from the northeast move south for a better life and bring the same stupid ideas that ruined their home state with them. Just like all lefties, they expect to make progress by walking backwards. Another idiot idea (by the criminal mexicans) is turning over the Southwest to the mexicans so they can turn it into another mexican slum. They can't change the poverty/crime in their home country, why do they think they will be any different anywhere else. Born and reared a failure and you'll always be a failure.

2 Part of it is northern immigration, but much of it is the far-left attraction of the uncapitalist state education system. The town of Durham is quietly competing to see if they can be more leftist than Berkeley, CA. I've heard them referred to as "The Berkeley of the East" -- and they like being called that.
