Once again we have a news story that shows how multiculturalism, besides being just stupid, is physically injuring and killing United States citizens. Last time it was a father of 2 and a schoolteacher killed. This time it was a 15-year old girl who's now in critical condition.

People, we have a problem in this country with illegal immigration, whether you or the politicians want to admit it or not. In the uniquely American society, it is simply not acceptable to get drunk and drive. However, in other cultures, this is seen as a common occurrence, and even encouraged! In particular, the Mexican culture reviles "machoness," and the more you can drink, the more you are "accepted."

We cannot have people coming to this country and bringing their culture with them. Our culture really is better. We need to lockdown our damn borders. I'm with The Gun Toting Liberal on this one: deploy our military to protect our borders! The local police and mayors refuse to fix this problem, it's time for the federal government to actually do one of the few things they are supposed to do!

So what will happen to this illegal immigrant who put a 15-year old innocent girl in the hospital because he was driving drunk? The last guy got probation and put back on the street. In case you're wondering, there were three FATAL DUI cases in that county this year (Brunswick). All THREE were illegal immigrants with previous DUI CONVICTIONS.

Sue Myrick (R-NC member of Congress) has written to the Office of Homeland Security to ask why North Carolina has only 1 officer assigned to deport the estimated 300,000 illegal immigrants in North Carolina. That's a nice start, Ms. Myrick, but that's not enough.

If Sue Myrick wants to be governor of North Carolina, this would be a great way to start -- get us 500 deportation officers and start deporting these criminals -- and start with the damn ones who are already arrested!
