N.O.W. Emergency

Are there any of my good readers who are actually members of this impotent group called "N.O.W." That's the National Organization for ultra-liberal, amazonian, man-hating Women -- or so I've heard.

Their current mindless and shrill claim is that there is a national state of emergency because a female supreme court justice retired. They vowed that the retiring female would not be replaced by an extremist, and they are horribly worried that a Republican might "erode barriers." Of course, they ignore the fact that a very conservative Republican, Ronald Reagan, actually appointed the woman in the first place.

In addition, this group never once gives any example of a what "barriers" for "women's rights" an alleged extremist (like Sandra Day O'Connor) would replace. They even claim that we will "lose" a generation of young women if anyone other than their selected person is appointed.

Folks, this is what the Democrat party stands for. That's sexism, no matter how you interpret the word. If you support the Democrat party, this is the type of person you support. They ARE the mainstream of the Democrat power base. These people are the ones who tell the Democrat Senators what to do.

As for the upcoming appointment, there's not one single person that Bush could select that the Democrats would approve. I would even bet that they would oppose Bill Clinton if Bush nominated him, just to oppose Bush.

2 Did you fill out the form? In triplicate? And submit it to the appropriate authorities? Via registered and certified, return receipt mail? I didn't think so.
