A recent poll says that 56% of the people of North Carolina are not happy with Bush these days. I'm sure that has nothing to do with the president of an invading country (Mexico) taking a tour of his conquered lands (Mexifornia) that used to be under control of Bush.

44 and 45% of North Carolina residents (actually voters because these polls only poll likely voters) think the NC Legislature is doing a bad job and that North Carolina is headed in the wrong direction. That has nothing to do with the fact that criminal charges have been brought against nearly everyone involved with starting up the state lottery, I'm sure.

Finally, EIGHTY PERCENT want the overpayment of taxes refunded to them. So what's the legislature to do? LIE. Claim you're giving tax cuts and reductions when you're not. It's simple because the press will print whatever lies the Democrats tell them to. One day maybe the people will wake up and realize they're being blatantly lied to. Maybe not.
