Things must be getting REALLY bad for Jim Black, Speaker of the North Carolina House. Now one of his biggest supporters, his head cheerleader, his hometown newspaper, The Observer, has finally called for his resignation.

That really is a huge step for the socialist Observer. They really do love Jim Black -- he supports using government in spite of any Constitutional issues, to advance a hugely socialist agenda. The Observer really loves the way he works daily to grow government larger and larger, and they love the way he supports removing freedom from people as often as he can.

And even now, after the State Board of Elections (D) has finally realized that he really did break the law, as noted here earlier this week; the Observer STILL won't admit that he did break the law! In their opinion piece calling for his resignation, they say he's lost his leadership ability and they don't care about his lawbreaking.

In other words, in their glowing report about him and how wonderful he is, The Observer says that they're calling for his resignation because they want someone else there who can fly under the radar and create more socialism without being noticed and a target. They still want their socialism, and they still want their lawbreaking, they just don't want Black to do it because too many people know he's a lawbreaker now.

Jeff Taylor also weighs in, noting that the Observer also believes that bribery isn't a crime in North Carolina. Then again, I guess it's not if the Democrats in the Legislature do it.
