3 Dude, where's my country? And Angel, sorry about that, I'm having the same problems. There's some minor issues with the server and spam that they really are working on -- it's mostly fixed now from what I can see.

4 I disagree. I am an individual first and foremost. I consider myself to be an American but that is not the primary definition of myself. If America takes a turn for tyranny I will still consider myself to be an American, but of a different variety. It certainly won't be the loyal type. I'm not a big fan of labels as they are too easily distorted (take liberalism for example). The actions of a man are so much more informative.

5 The melting pot? Not anymore...more like the great melt down. I am not certain as to how I stumbled on this blog, but your comments reinforce the historical fact that all great empires eventually fall...we are next as proven by the short sighted and idiot comments I read here.

6 tkc, it sounds like you do agree -- by saying that you're an American, even if tyranny continues. I'm no big fan of labels, either, but being a member of a nation is simply identification, like male or female. Bryan, there's really no need to just insult commenters on this blog. That just reinforces that fact that everyone has an opinion and they're like...well, I think we know how that one goes. Did you have a point?
