Religious War Continues

No matter how many times you claim that Islam is a "Religion of Peace," it doesn't change the fact that IT IS NOT.

Muslims want to destroy anyone who disagrees with them. That's what they do. Those who are Muslims who do not are the exception. It's not the radicals who kill and destroy, it's the mainstream of that religion. If you are Muslim and disagree with destroying the infidel, you are in the vast minority of that religion.

And yes, the Muslims are still rioting and looting in France, despite the news blackout. The French news outlets believe that if they don't report it, it's not really happening.

1 "Overnight, the number of car-torchings — a barometer of the unrest — dropped sharply, with youths setting fire to 284 vehicles, compared to 374 the previous night, police said Monday. There were no clashes between police and rioters. "The lull is confirmed," national police spokesman Patrick Hamon said. A week ago, 1,400 cars were incinerated in a single night." Only 284 cars torched. This is good news? I am missing something. Do they dance around the May pole when they hit 200? I wonder what the headlines would read if 10 cars were burned in the USA.

2 That has been their rallying point in the news repeatedly! Every time there are less cars burned in a single night, that's good news. If there's more cars burned on one night than the last, it's NO news.

3 I don't know this reminds me of the second through fourth crusades done by Christians or the Inquisition. Every religion has a time of upheaval even the pacifist Buddist have a time when fundamentalism existed and people died. I would still like to see it handled though, preferably peacefully, but only time will tell.

4 However, Arbitratorofall, it's been a thousand years since Christianity has participated in such acts. And, Judeo-Christian Scripture has NEVER condoned massive violence like Islam does. Peaceful resolution, while ideal, is unrealistic. Those rioting will only be subdued once they have achieved all of their objectives (an Islamic France), or until they've been subdued. I think the latter situation is more likely.

5 I'd like to see it handled peacefully, too, but as Stevin points out -- it's just not an option. Yes, it takes two to fight, but when one won't stop violence, the only way to end is either kill or be killed.

6 Yes I agree with the time difference but nothing is to say that Christians did not protest violence. You pointed to Judeo-Christian which took power after the original form of Christains (forgot the offical title) lost favor. This only includes the US, Canada, England, and small parts of Europe. The rest are still Catholic or Greek Orthadox which is closer to the old ways. Many condoned the acts of the later Crusades and of the Inquisition. The old teachings never sided with violence or against violence. Besides Moses told the Isralites to burn and destroy all other forms of religion resulting in the destruction of the Cannites. This was a complete destruction including the people, places, and culture. The Bible does mention wars to destroy an entire people so perhaps they stradled the fences and hoped their teachings of peace and love would move people away from it. Also, don't forget most of the rioters are under 25 which in France has been called "The Forgotten Generation" due to lack of say in government. Those people are more impressionable by those older as has happened in other places even the US.
