Sheehan in Charlotte
Oh my. Lions and Tigers and Bears. Retired lunatic Cindy Look-At-Me Sheehan will be "demonstrating"
in Charlotte today. I wonder if any "supporters" will show up. Probably, because there's a lot of liberals and socialists in Charlotte who despise freedom and suffer greatly from Bush Derangement Syndrome.
Unfortunately, some of us actually work for our money, instead of living off the backs of others, so I'll be unable to attend her "rally for impeachment" this afternoon. There is a SECOND "rally" scheduled for 5pm. If it's not raining (and with a forecast heat index of 107 today, it likely will be), I'll see if I can stop by and snap some pictures. This could be fun, so be sure and check back tomorrow here -- if I can get some shots, they'll be posted here!

I can't wait to see what slant the Charlotte Observer take on Cindy's visit. The local scene is still waiting for Jim Black to find a prison bed and begin his long overdue stay as a guest of the government. I don't worry too much about poor Jim because he will wind up in a country club prison atmosphere somewhere. What I would like to see is more fallout of crooked state legislators in Raleigh. Black is only the top player. There has to be dozens more just praying they aren't next. Too bad we don't have impeachment processes for local and state government.

I think they'll either ignore it completely or just cover the early protest -- not any of the opposition.
To show how disinterested people are in politics, Jim Black is a perfect example. He's as dirty as you can get, but he won re-election last year. People honestly don't care any more.

I will see if I can get past her bodyguards...I'm thinking she won't get as warm a welcome here as she thinks...but I could be wrong.

If you heard Keith Larson on WBT this AM -- Cindy DOES NOT have a permit for Bryant Park. At least she didn't when Keith called the county Parks & Rec department to ask who paid for the park rental for her. He then quickly tried to rent it himself -- even sending a staffer in person to do so -- only to run into a red tape wall.
Bottomline, get to the park at 4pm and refuse to move for Cindy and Co. They do not have anything that compels you to move. If CMPD tells you to move or face arrest, that's your call. But you'd have a heck of a case for suing them if you called their bluff on that.
Larson says he's got a baseball game on for 4pm, so bring a glove. And a camera.
