Slanted News

Once again, an example of how the news editors get to determine what you should think about. Here's the headline:

Disney to Slash 650 Jobs and Cut Yearly Movie Output

"Slash"

"Cut"

Why? Oh, right, it's an "evil" corporation, so we have to apply negative adjectives.

How about another headline that would match the exact same story:

Disney announces moves to increase payouts to shareholders

Or even
Disney to make more blockbuster films

Or how about a more accurate
Disney to stop doing things that lose them money

But no, we're treated to a very strong bias against corporations because they're evil in the minds of communists -- and apparently news editors.

1 As a resident of Central Florida, aka Disneylando, we are required to only say nice things about the mouse. I would say it even if we weren't bound by oath and forced to wear electrical leashes that zap anytime we think bad Disney thoughts. Or something like that. Sorry to see Disney have to cut back but like every corporation, it's business and business is business. I hate the villifying of corporations because they exercise common sense (though I know the left is ADAMENT against any type of common sense...)

2 Oh, but the business of business is evil. The TV told me so. Thanks for stopping along!
