Tom Tancredo & Southern Leadership Conference

There seems to be a bit of a disagreement whether Tom Tancredo was excluded from a conference gathering of Republicans because the gathering only wanted "top-tier" Republican presidential candidates.

At this time, the conference says they never heard from Tancredo, but Tancredo's "people" claim they did contact the conference but were not invited. Six other Republicans who are considered candidates for the 2008 election have been invited to speak, but Mr. Tancredo is not allowed to speak.

Look, Tom Tancredo is the ONLY elected government person I know of now that will even consider doing ANYTHING about the hundred-billion dollar problem of criminal immigration. People are breaking laws openly and being rewarded with taxpayer cash. Democrats like it and Republicans like it -- NO ONE will even talk about it -- except Tom Tancredo.

I think Tancredo could win a presidential election with a massive landslide of support on this one, single issue. Sure, he's lose California and New York, but he would win nearly every other state in the union -- because this issue is a complete winner and no one else will touch it. Heed my words now -- Tom Tancredo, should he choose to officially run, will be a big winner.
