U.S. Constitution Day

Tomorrow is US Constitution Day (celebrated). Did you know that? It is. Technically the anniversary of the signing of the Constitution is September 17th, but it usually celebrated on the Friday before or the Monday after.

Sorry, no 3-day weekend for you, but I'm working on that one...

Instead, we'll interrupt regular programming for Friday and have an all-day celebration of the Constitution! Maybe we'll have cake! Come back and see tomorrow...

1 You mean you aren't working on a 3 day weekend for Talk Like a Pirate Day?

2 Thanks - did not know that!

3 Normally, I'd do that, Bou (getting a 4-day weekend in the process), but Talk Like a Pirate Day is so much more fun when you're at work!

4 Haha, I actually knew about Constitution Day and already have a fun post ready for it! However, I am celebrating it on Saturday :-P

6 I'm involved with a group that celebrates the ENTIRE WEEK. We put up displays in our public libraries and schools. Some of our chapters have 'Constitution Day' lunches. They have a big speaker come in and educate the people.

7 Now that's Constitutional! I love it (and not just because of the food).
