Weekend Driving Dangers

This weekend will be especially dangerous for drivers in North Carolina because the state police will be enforcing a few laws. Their crack training and abilities will allow them to suddenly enforce laws regarding littering and seat belts. This is big news this weekend because apparently these laws are not routinely enforced and the police have so much extra time on their hands that they decided to enforce some laws this weekend.

As of yet, there is no official word on how many other laws will be ignored by the police, as happens in the city of Charlotte. In case you're not aware of that situation, try this on for size:

Policeman is alerted to a crime in progress. Policeman reports said crime. CRIMINAL complains about being reported for committing a crime. Chief of Police apologizes to CRIMINAL and reprimands policeman for enforcing the law. Charlotte Chief has not said what other laws he has selected to ignore. Nope, there's no sign of the nation of laws that used to exist. We are now a nation of men, subject to the whims of annointed leaders who decide everything and anything.
